So I have been on LE diet for about a month or so and I have broke out in Zits, I'm really tired and it's seemed to alter my cycles from 28 to 30 day's now. Has anyone expiernced this? just so I can make sure this is normal.:worry:

I haven't experienced any of those symptoms, but my skin is abnormally dry and I have been drinking A LOT of water and CL so it seems weird to me that my skin could be so so dry. Oh I am tired too, but I think that is from the lack of food

Good luck!

I just wanted to let you know that for some people, aspartame (in CL) can cause dry lips and skin. That will probably ease up once you're off the aspartame. :)

I feel tired and cranky on LE. I guess it's to be expected, we're trying to lower general condition/fertility and the habits we're taking on are (for most of us) VERY different to what we are used to. :) Otherwise we'd already have girls... right? ;)

Good luck to both of you xx

Yes, it's normal. Lots of ladies have had the same issues with bad skin while on the diet.

As for your cycle changing, have you lost a lot of weight? Can you afford to? And are you taking any supplements?

I didn't know that about aspartame, its good to know. I normally am a sodium lover (probably why I have 3 boys) so this diet is rough on me, I miss my chips and salsa and raman noodles! Not to mention my extra salty popcorn, but to be honest I think I am starting to get past it because I cheated and took 1 bite of my DH french onion soup (my very fav) and almost couldn't stand how salty it was, so even if I do end up with DS4 maybe at least I will have learned how to lower my sodium intake!!!

Just FYI - If you're going to cheat, sodium is a good one!! :)

LOL well that was my first cheat of the day but it was my sons birthday and I ate a lot more cake than I would like to admit, but other than that I haven't had any cheats for 5 weeks and have dropped 10 lbs but my husband doesn't want me to lose anymore so my fingers are crossed, I have sticky :pinksperm: right now since I think I am 2 DPO

Thanks!!! The 2ww is the worst!

My poor guy turned 4 but ended up having strep so couldn't really enjoy it, he doesn't like/eat cake anyway so he wanted me to still make it so he could get the birthday song and blow out the candles, then told the rest of us to enjoy his birthday cake.....I couldn't disappoint the poor sick kiddo!

Ok thanks ladies ya I have lost 4 lbs already but want to maintain it for a little bit cuz I'm not actually swaying until april, I'm just trying to get used to the diet so I don't go into complete shock lol.... but it sounds like this is all normal stuff. Also may ask what the 2ww is? new to all this so don't know what that means.

2ww means the 2 week wait after ovulation until you either get a positive test or your period

Yup on the zits. But I'm taking Vitex too and that's been known to cause acne. Yerrrrgh!!!!

Yes, a lot of ladies have felt crabby and tired, it's from the dieting and blood sugar crashes. But if you get really awful fatigue ALL day to the point where you feel like your brain is mud, try taking some iron supps. I was starting to get a little anemic because of going vegetarian. I started some iron supps and felt better almost right away.

If you are still dragging after taking some iron you might want to get your thyroid checked out for hypothyroidism too.

I have been off the diet for awhile now, but I still have horribly brittle fingernails that break constantly. And I also have these red streaks at the corners of my mouth that I just found out can be caused by vitamin deficiencies (it's called angular chelitis - that was my Google self-diagnosis, lol). I have had them in the past, but they flared up majorly after I was on the LE diet for 8 weeks. So yeah, it can definitely cause changes! I am trying to load up on vitamins now!

Yes, all those things can be normal. I have an essay about zits and mouth sores here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-discussion-ttc-boy-girl-home-swaying-info/5166-mouth-sores-zits.html
