Please help!! Confirmed boy at 19 weeks then told possibly girl today at 22 weeks!!

Can anyone help? Any techs that can help would be so much appreciated. The photo is at 19 weeks where i was told boy, then today the doc told me looked like a girl to her although bub wasnt in the greatest position she said she couldnt see anything that looked like boy bits. So confused now. Could this possibly be a girl???

I don't understand why nobody ever gets pics of ovaries, if its a girl. A friend of mine was pregnant with a girl and they said 100% and here's the ovaries to prove it.... I know I'm asking for some reassurance if they say girl....

Thank u thats what I thought. Looks to obvious to be a girl but was just worried that somehow it could be swollen girl bits which was suggested to me by someone else. I also thought it would be so obvious at this stage that the doc couldn't miss it but I guess some how she did

I always say there is nothing like a bond between a son and his momma.. it's so amazing!
They are so sweet and cuddly close!
I never pictured myself a boy mom, but God sent me what I needed. I'm even a bit sad I will never have another little bundle of blue. Your little girl might come after she has enough brothers to protect her! Forgive me, I don't know how many you have. :)

Don't you have to get a level 2 or 3 u/s to get a pic of the ovaries?

My initial thought would be boy too, looking at it like Butterfly Spirit pointed out. But if they could not see boy parts at 22 weeks you could look at it as swollen labia if you disregard the turtle's "head", lol. Maybe that part was cord or something else? I'd be very confused too.... You don't have a potty shot from 22 weeks?

Looks like clear boy parts to me.

As for seeing ovaries on a fetus, unless there is a cyst on one they are not possible to see--they are just too tiny--at least that is what I have been told by 2 different techs and also according to this article (http://www.pregnancyandbaby.com/pregnancy/articles/937337/is-it-a-girl-how-an-ultrasound-can-tell).

I wish my ultrasound looked like that! Those are boy parts! I'll try to post my recent ultrasound when I was 19 weeks - clear potty shots and they look nothing like your pics.

I really think it's a boy. And I think I would trust an ultrasound tech's opinion over a doctor's.

Thank you and no didnt get any pics as was really only checking my placenta until she said girl and i said no boy...... Im no good at telling these things but this looks too boyish and have no idea if its even slightly possible its a girl but certainly have a tiny bit of doubt

I see boy parts clearly. I would be very surprised to find out that it is a girl. The cord looks higher and to the right and not connected to the area of interest ;) Can you post the latest photo too?

i know no one thinks its possible that this is a girl but i cant shake the 'what if' feeling. At $280 i deffinatly cant afford an additional ultrasound!!! Thanks again everyone x

That must be so frustrating, being told two different things at the two u/s. Although the picture you posted *looks* boyish, I would still be questioning why they did not see that at the 2nd u/s. I don't blame you for having doubts, I would too, for sure.

i think thats why it is bothering me so much. You would think it would be so obvious at this stage that it couldnt possibly be hiding but i also dont see how, after looking at the pic, it could possibly be a girl.

I also have a friend who swears its a girl because if u zoom in u can see 2 white lines which she was told mean girl... Lol just need expert advice to ease my mind

I feel like that's a more definite boy potty shot than what I was given. You can see the scrotum quite clearly and the penis is leaning to the left....

So glad you're able to get another scan to find out for sure, you do hear of a small % of people being told 100% that it is a boy or girl and it popping out the opposite so you never know!

Looks boy to me, but then I've seen a couple of boy looking shots turn out to be girl, so I'm always unsure at the under 20week scans. Unless the shot is very close up and clear.
