Are there any ultrasound techs that we can send our pics to for a nub guess? I would love a professional guess! :) my baby wiggled through the entire exam! I was 12 wks 2 days at exam but measured 13 wks 2 days.

I do not see a nub. That far along, I would have loved to get a potty shot too.

Tech on babycenter says she doesn't see a nub. I feel so down. I've noticed that with boy ultrasounds sometimes you can't see nubs (I guess because it's sticking up next to thigh). Has anyone had a girl where the nub wasn't visible like this?

Yes of course! It's an ultrasound image. Things come in and out of focus very easily. Don't get down yet!

I'm so worried because what I *think* is the nub in the first pic is sticking up like some boy nubs I've seen confirmed recently. That white triangle looking thing on the thigh. Someone else said that was the thigh on babycenter but it's in spot where nub should be too I think. I'm going crazy & feel so sad!

But it also seems to curve downward. I'm really feeling depressed now. I think the combination of little sleep, hormones, & desiring gender is driving me batty!

Are you THE lovemy4 that is so good at nubs?!?!? I'm a lot more optimistic now if you are!

If lovemy4 thinks leaning pink, you have a very good chance!! GL. I hope you get your little girl.

I took another look and I definitely think you have a decent shot at pink--it doesn't look like a boy nub at all. Of course there is always the chance that we aren't seeing the full nub (the downfall of still images) so keep that in the back of your mind. Best of luck at your next scan!

I know that's what makes me nervous! I hope there is not a nub sticking straight up that the sonogram didn't focus on & so it's not showing up somewhere! :nails: Surely that white triangle area is most of the nub so I can have an idea of the angle. We are going out of town so I have to get my next ultrasound at 14 w 4 d. I may have to be that crazy person & go again the middle of the 15th week when we come back. I keep hearing that 14w4d may be 'iffy'. The place assured me they would be able to tell at 14w4d. Ugh I'm nervous!

Thinking girl...esp since baby was measuring 13 wks...would think you would be able to see a boy nub by then if there was one.
