Why is chewing gum good for pink?
Can I have a glass of warm skim milk in morning or is it better to not have anything at all at breakfast time?
Why is chocolate bad for pink? Is it ok if I stay within my limits or is it all bad? Like if I need to up my calories can I have chocolate or chocolate biscuits after my meal? Or is it better to have sweets instead?
I'm the coldest person in the world. And it's winter now in the uk so I have the heating and gas fire on ALL the time. Does this sway or not?
Is everyone that's on the LE diet going vegetarian? I'm going to definitely cut out all red meat and fish. But was hoping to sneak in some chicken once (maybe twice!) a week. How much does white meat affect the sway?
Thanks in advance :)

1) I assume you mean sugarfree chewing gum...aspartame lowers ph and that's part of the girl sway (if you believe ph sways)
2) You can, but it's better not to. Skipping breakfast is one of the easy things you can do with the LE diet (of course, this is coming from someone who never eats breakfast anyway!)
3) If you have chocolate - which you can - as long as it's in your limits, doing milk or white chocolate is best. Dark chocolate is full of nutrients.
4) I don't think being cold sways, but it is an indication that you may be anemic - you may need more protein in your diet and/or some iron supplements.
5) Lots of ladies have conceived girls without cutting out all meat. Once a week should be fine! Besides, you have to do what you're comfortable with....it makes it easier to stay on the diet, especially because you have no idea how long that may be!
Hope this helps!! Wishing you lots of luck!! :)
Any more questions...please feel free to ask!!

Thanks! Didn't realise it was sugar free gum your meant to have, that makes sense. Thanks for your help!
PS I'm not always cold because of the diet, I'm just generally always cold lol. I just heard somewhere that having the heating on a lot might sway blue and was hoping that that's not true!! :)

Beadin took the words right outta my mouth. :)
I don't think there's such thing as non sugar-free gum? At least not in Canada (that awful kids' pink bubblegum notwithstanding).
Being cold all the time can be from hypothyroidism too, or very low bodyfat (and lack of insulation). If you have fatigue that iron supps don't help you might want to get tested for hypothyroidism as it can prevent you from conceiving.
And having dark chocolate once in awhile is fine as a treat. :) Pretty much nothing is NEVER allowed on the diet, just not all the time.

Actually, unless something changed, I'm pretty sure the Wrigley gums - doublemint, juicy fruit - do have real sugar in them :)
And then there are the Hubba Bubbas....lol.

Nevermind! Just looked it up...
All the Wrigleys also have artificial sugars now, too. :( That's a bummer.

LOL, blame the dentists!!
I notice too that a lot of stuff is sucralose now (Splenda) and not aspartame. Aspartame still has a bad rap I guess!

Is aspartame better than splenda for ttc pink? I seem to see a lot of spenda around, but hardly any aspartame... Thanks

Aspartame is supposed to be better at lowering ph.

I'm chewing juicy fruit right now lol it's sugar free :)
I tried to cut all meat out and just couldn't and since I was a big red meat junkie I cut all red meat out of my diet and still eat chicken
I skipped breakfast till 1pm usually but never earlier than 12
The diet was so hard on me for the first week and a half and then my body just got used to it

Sorry one more qu - am I right in thinking that we don't count the fat/protein etc for salad fruit and veg? For example I had 2 low sodium wraps with hummus and salad for lunch today. I counted the wraps and hummus but not the lettuce, cucumber or tomato i put in it. Is that right? Or should I put every thing i eat into my fitness pal?

No you don't need to count non-starchy veg. With a few exceptions like avocado which are very fatty. Fruits you probably should count calories since they are quite high in sugar. You need to count the starchy veg like potatoes.
Don't even bother with protein/fats in most fruits/veg though, it'll drive you crazy and the miniscule amounts are inconsequential.

Low carb veg are free for everything, high carb (starchy or sweet) veg and fruit count just calories, high protein veg (beans, peas, lentils) count cals and protein, olives and avocado, count cals and fat. :) Sorry confusing I know but it's the best way to make sure you don't drive yourself mad counting things that don't even matter!

The heating thing is because of "ions" but on this site we don't find that the ions have any scientific support for swaying. X and Y sperm do not even have different electrical charges and therefore cannot be attracted or repelled differently by ions. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/science-behind-gender-swaying/1562-what-real-differences-between-x-sperm-y-sperm.html

They're both ok, aspartame is supposed to be better. Some people tolerate one better than the other and if that applies to you, you should always go with the one that doesn't make you sick. I can do aspartame fine but splenda makes me get very jittery. Others have headaches on aspartame. Use what works for you.
