I read that taking Vitex after an early miscarriage could help. I am on CD3 after an early miscarriage. My goal is getting pregnant soon and having a safe, lasting pregnancy. So I am just not sure what is best. Vitex? B6? Baby Aspirin? There seem to be risks with each of these things. Thoughts? Experiences?

Maybe this isn't the best forum for my question. Sorry!

Are you doing the LE diet or anything else for TTC pink?
I assume its all natural (No clomid, pcos etc) - You obviously can get pregnant without taking vitamins. Early miscarriages (called chemicals) are unfortunately very common.
I'd do what you were doing before in your pink sway and take it one step at a time.

I am so sorry about the loss. It sucks. :(
Honestly, I wouldn't take anything at all for the first cycle after your m/c. You want to give it some time for your hormones and body to settle down and find its normal again. In fact, don't take anything supplemental at all until your system is back to where it was pre-m/c. Vitex and other herbs/supps change your hormone balance, and you don't want to be 'confusing' your system with extra stuff at a time when it's trying to heal itself and find its own norm again. You're better to let it alone and let time heal it a bit first.
You can certainly continue to TTC and do the girl diet, I'd just stay off of extra supps (except folic acid, definitely take that!) until your system regulates.

First and foremost I want a healthy pregnancy and baby. I am on CD4. I am not on clomid or anything. I did a LE sway before the miscarriage. I would love another girl but I am not sure how to sway after a miscarriage.

I took Vitex and Red Raspberry Leaf Capsules (Because I can't stand tea.)
Along with my regular swaying supps Cal, Mag, B50 complex.
Sorry for your loss! sadflowr:
If you do get a BFP I would recommend going to your OB for Progesterone!
Your M/C will sway pink for you.
If you take Vitex make sure to hop off when your opk says you are "about" to get a +!

I'm torn. Atomic Sagebrush?
Again, of course I just want a healthy baby and pregnancy. I plan on trying when I (hopefully) ovulate in about a week. Since I had a chemical pregnancy and I do not know what the reason was, I am not sure I want to start taking things like Vitex. I am drinking RRL tea and have taken a couple baby aspirins. But I am not sure what else to do in order to balance the healthy baby and but also wishing for a girl sway.

Vitex really does sway pink more often than not hon from what I've seen, but it's all a personal choice.

Hi hplnvf (? lol)...I know exactly where you are at. I had a m/c in October at 12 months. It was so hard, and I decided that I wouldn't be swaying for gender this time around, but a "healthy egg". A lot of women in the HT forum get advice from their RE on supplements to promote egg health.
I'm on pycnogenol, ubiquinol, resveratrol and did a 3-7 day regimen with soy isoflavones. Here is Atomic's essay on egg quality:

Also the soy essay:

I'm taking other supplements for fertility, but if you're swaying pink you'll probably want to stear clear of those..
GL!
