Please help. my DH is all in on this sway but i know he will struggle to eat girl foods. Last night i tested his ph bearing in mind since i went all mental on the swaying thing there has been no BD'ing it was 9 and that is being generous. I know he can have cranberry like me he drinks loads of coffee and said i can switch him to decaff, he drink loads of pepsi max (tho does prefer full sugar but i am worried about his weight) he is overweight, only around the belly :) with broad shoulders. he doesnt work out but is on his feet at work. He eats salt on EVERY thing and i will struggle to battle that one. i know he will do what ever it takes for me but he is very much, well its not til sept. I have had no EWM since haveing my ph paper so i cant test that ph but at the mo my ph is fine. he has a rubbish memory so when i ask him what he ate when he has his dd he is very unhelpful. Arrrgggghhhhh

Before you panic too much, take it a few more times just to be certain that it's really that high. He may have just eaten something that affected it. Also you might want to read this http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?2065-How-to-check-pH-for-DH-and-DW for some tips on how you can get some CM to test if you're worried about it.

Honestly I think he sounds like he is in a good place for TTC pink. Yes, traditional swaying info has caffeine as a no-no but excessive amounts of caffeine can actually sway pink, esp. in DH. Really high caffeine intake may lower testosterone which is excellent for pink http://www.fitflex.com/caffeinetestosterone.html Colas have been linked to lower sperm count which sways pink - Pepsi Max has a lot of caffeine and also fake sugar in it http://www.physorg.com/news189238657.html. Our neighbor who works with my husband drinks supercaffeinated energy drinks all day long (and he would get so jittery at work my husband actually had to yell at him for it) and they have three girls.

The salt does need to be cut back on if at all possible, but it is probably much more important that YOU cut back on salt. So if he slips up here and there, it's ok.

Being overweight around the belly may mean his estrogen levels are a bit higher which in DH, sways pink!

Once he starts with the cranberry, test again and see if it starts to go down. Even if it doesn't, it isn't the end of the world, your pH is MUCH more important than his is.
