Hi Dr Potter. Quick question, is it possible for you to ship the medication needed to home addresses in the UK? Is there an alternative way of getting hold of the medication you will prescribe me. Please advise thank you

I am not Dr Potter but here is what i think - Dr Potter's co-ordinator will order your meds to freedom fertility pharmacy & then the pharmacy will call you for a credit card. once you are done with the payment your order will be processed & shipped to your Home address. This is how it worked out for us (who are in USA) i am thinking its the same for UK patients aswell.

Also i have heard from UK people, that they get meds shipped but not the needles, as thery are international shipping, but they have the needles from there local OB or monitoring place

HI Princess Nash, I am Lori Dr.Potter's coordinator and I usually order meds from IVF-Meds, Freedom, MDR or Fazeley ( UK) whichever has what you will need and at the best price. I have been ordering from Kings pharnacy for the meds to come here to my office to give pts. when they arrive ( these are the ones you cannot get there or from IVF meds). I hope this helps a little

Thank you Lori for the response, it is reassuring to know there are websites in the UK where I can order from. Is there a way of knowing how to administer the injections as I have no idea. thanks

Hi Dr Potter. Quick question, is it possible for you to ship the medication needed to home addresses in the UK? Is there an alternative way of getting hold of the medication you will prescribe me. Please advise thank youWe can send it via Federal Express. It will sometimes be held up in customs though. Lori can work with you to order your medications and get them in your hands.

yes, pharmacies will ship to your home address or any address you give them that you prefer. pharmacies from here can ship to you and pharmacies in Uk can ship to you as well. Lori

Mine didn't come with needles from the USA or from UK. (I'm in Australia.) I had to source the needles myself.

I'm ok - going home today and can't wait to see my boys!

I don't know where you can source needles from in UK but one of the Aust girls has been having the same trouble - she ended up ordering from an online pharmacy in Aust. Maybe you can search.

I got my needles from a GP friend so maybe you should just ask your GP as well?

Maybe ask the clinic where you are doing your monitoring? Good luck!

To be honest my GP doesn't know i'm doing ivf, just don't know what i would say and as for the monitoring clinic they are being really funny about everything. I'm shocked that i manage to do my pre cycling tests there.
