I've heard the cervix goes through many many changes during this time. I wouldn't recommend checking your cervix this late after O just incase you are prego! :)

I think if I remember right I was 12 dpo. You could start now!
I recommend a $1 test to start!! I love those.. they are more sensitive than the standard more expensive tests. GL! :fx:

Okay according to my Vitex Thread I was 10 dpo. Can't wait to hear! Are you in the US? You could go get the .88 one at Walmart.. even though I have not tried it.. it's prob very similar to the $1 store test.

I agree that it's probaly not good to check if preggo, but since you already did this is what I found online (I was actually checking this last night before I saw your ? funny enough). So every site seemed to say on average cervix is high and softer in early preg. due to increased blood flow and normally low and hard before af. Everything also said that this was irrelevant as it was average in most people, and unless you have been tracking your norm through all cycles not a valid way to tell. So more waiting as always- sorry. Wishing you a bfp!

I never checked mine so I can't be of much help but I think everyone is different and depending on when exactly you check it.

Cervix is very unreliable! With my third it was low and hard till 6 weeks

I agree with PP, cervix isn't reliable unless you already have tracked it with a previous pregnancy and know, for YOU, what your cervix does pregnant vs not pregnant. Very high (higher than at ov), soft cervix is a sign of pregnancy but the cervix shifts at different times for different people. Also it doesn't always change at the same time from pregnancy to pregnancy either.

So it's probably best to let it alone. You can definitely test with the early tests starting at 12dpo though! GL!

Not really, and it's actually a good idea to leave your cervix alone if you might be pg because you can accidentally introduce microorganisms that can cause infection and trigger losses.

Also could mess with your mucus plug.
