If you have more than 1 kid were your kids born at the same time of day??
I have 4 and they were all born at night. Would be so nice to have during the day w/ the sun shining. Plus I have a great sunroom and was thinking the pool would be perfect in there. Maybe it's better at night since the other kids can see babe and be all excited and then we all get to go to sleep lol. Eitehr way. was wondering if women usually have them at the same time or do some of you have kids that were born in the morning and other born at night???

DD1 was born on Saturday, 8:21 pm, DD3 also Saturday, 7:20 pm. DD2 was born on Tuesday at noon. So from my experience it is def. possible :)

I read somewhere that the majority of uninduced births without interventions do happen at night. It may be Mother Nature's way of making sure you have a baby when not a lot of others/predators are up and around so you can hide while you are vulnerable.

Mine were 10 pm, 8 am, 3 am, 11 pm, and 1 am. Only my second son was in the daytime and of course all my laboring was done at night.

Mine weren't born at the same time - but all on the same day! All my labouring was done at night, but DS2 started at night.

DD was born Tuesday the 16th oct 2005 at 6.15 pm
DS1 was born Tuesday the 7th oct 2008 at 10.02 pm
DS2 was born Tuesday the 23rd 2010 at 4.04 pm

Which is a bit funny too!

DS1 was technically induced (they broke my waters) and he arrived at 8pm. I didn't like that as I was in hospital so DH got kicked out an hour later when I moved to the ward... and I was awake all night with my newborn as I had no support.

DS2 arrived at 2.30AM, and again was exhausted at that point and DH had to go straight away

next time I'd love to wake up feeling refreshed in the morning, go into labour/have it started first thing and deliver around noon so I had more energy for the labour and more support around afterwards! however, nature thinks night time is "safer" and so that's when it happens for most spontaneously...

Mine were all born in a four hour window, dd1 12:50am, dd2 3:29am, dd3 1:55am and ds 4:44am. I've gotten really good at going to bed early, recognizing that feeling that I probably won't make it till morning so I better sleep while I can. I totally called it with ds, told dh I wouldn't make it till morning and sure enough I was up a few hours later lol

all births natural but 1st 2 was stripped earlier in the day at 41 weeks
funny 1st 2 labors started at 8pm and then they were born at 10:05 and 10:08pm the next night
next 2 my waters broke before labor kicked in around 5am and one was born at 12:30am and last at 9:30 pm

yeah it is easier to labor during day if you can have babe and go to sleep. it get's exhausting when you miss a night of sleep and then still have to labor more. guess we'll see how this one wants to arrive:)

I know technically my experience doesn't count as I had 2 ECS, but my two were strange co-incidences nonetheless. DS1 was born 24 May 2007 around 1pm (at 30 weeks) and DS2 was born on 24 April 2009 around 12pm (full term). I'd like to request a planned section for DC3 (whenever that'll be) for the 24th of the month IF SUITABLE for the babe!

Mine were completel opposite...both natural labors. BUT, it might make a difference that with my first I labored for a very long time...so it wasn't "just overnight."

Labor started with #1 at 7am Sunday and he was born at 5:39pm on Tuesday (no interventions, just long).

Labor started with #2 at 9pm Thursday and he was born 6:10am on Friday (much shorter). And true to the overnight, less predators theory. I can see that, it seems more babies are born in the early morning or middle of the night than other times.

I am hoping this baby starts labor in the morning. I was absolutely exhausted even at the early parts of labor with both of the boys, since one was days long and the other started right as I was laying down for bed after caring for two kids (one daycare child) all day. I would love a labor where I had some energy. Lol.

Yes, I read this too...I'll see if I can find the article. Check this...my DD was born at 3:21 am and my DS was born at 1:23 am :)

DS1 was born around 10.30am, I was in labour since the previous morning. DS2 was born around 5am, I was in labour since the previous afternoon.
They were both spontaneous labours but I was given the drip to speed things up with DS1 because my waters had been broken for too long, and with DS2 they broke my waters to speed things up because he was in distress.

My boys were both born at noon, around 12:30pm, although DS1 was induced since my water broke the day before but no contractions developed. I haven't thought about it before, but it was nice to have them born at day time!

Mine were all over the place, all natural labors. DS1 was born in the morning around 11am, DS2 in the afternoon around 3pm and DS3 in the evening around 11pm.... hmm, by that pattern I'm due a middle of the night baby, lol! :)

#1 was born at 4:34pm, #2 at 8:07am, both uninduced/unmedicated home births. Both labors were 6 hours long.

I used Hypnobabies for both, which includes a visualization exercise where you imagine your birth down to the tiniest details and both were born during the time of day I envisioned they would be. For #3, I'm thinking of visualizing a noon birth.

The labors with DS1 and DS2 started out similar in that my water broke first. With DS1 my water broke about 3:30am the day before he was born and the other about 7:30am the before he was born. The labors were totally different, but still ended up being the same amount of TOTAL hours (starting from PROM). Both were unmedicated and natural. The first started at 41+4 and born at 41+5. The second started at 38+2 and born at 38+3.But with the first he was sunny side up and so it was hard labor from the start and lasted 30.5 hours. At least 9 hours of transition, 6 hours of pushing. So it was long and painful. The second was not face up (THANK GOD!) but my contractions didn't do much of anything until many many hours in. BUT i went from 4cm to placenta in 1 hour and 15 minutes. So that was just a matter of body actually starting things. He was born about 31 hours after PROM. However, because of how different the actual labor process was with both, DS1 was born at 9:17am the next day and DS2 was born at 3:03PM the next day...so even though they were similar in some ways (With the water breaking and the hours from PROM to birth were similar), one was born in the morning and one was born in the afternoon. But when i think about the parts of the day where they were more active, prenatally, it makes sense to me. BC DS1 was always extremly more active in the morning (he is two and a half now and still wakes up with the chickens! lol) and DS2 was always more active in the afternoon. (still prefers to sleep in in the mornings and he is now 1). So i thought that was interesting.
