Hi Everyone,

I've not been on here for weeks, it was really getting me down after my last cycle ended in yet another negative, and everyone else was getting BFPs :tissue:

Anyway, am on cd28/10dpo and I got a v. faint bfp 3 days ago and it's got progressively stronger. Still not as strong as I'd like, but hopefully it'll carry on than end in yet another chemical.

Hubby doesn't know yet, he thinks he's getting a kinky present tomorrow as it can't be opened in front of family, but I'll be giving him a test wrapped in a jewellery box.
Congrats shutterbug, that's a great idea for the present! That's my dilemma too, I don't want to end up with a chemical as well. Your progression looks great, I have all my hopes for us. When will you be due? X

To me these look just fine. Something I did with my progression HPT is to only test once a day (in the morning) and to not compare one day to another but to compare todays with two days ago. I couldn't really tell my am from pm so I started testing only in the am to save on tests.

If you look at your progression on today (tuesday, the two bottom ones) compared to Sundays two tests they are definitely getting darker. If you look at mine (on the BPF thread) it looks similar to this in the first couple of days. It takes about 7-10 days to get a nice dark positive. Keep testing and they should continue to get darker.

Hi guys

Thought i'd jump in and say hi! and to distract myself from doing another test :worry: Last month I was so such i was pregnant, had lots of symptoms and then nothing but AF.

So take 2. I am currently 10 DPO....still BFN have a pack of 50 tests so checking every morning, the difference this month is no cramps, no sore breasts...but yesterday felt a bit queasy. I put it down to too much Christmas food. However its back today andcomes and goes. So fingers crossed.

My husband has nowjust reached the point where he just wants a baby and isn't fussed if it is a boy.

Shutterbug the progression line looks good to me, remember you have not reached 4 weeks yet. I wouldnt test in the afernoon as the hormone levels are more diluted then.

Sorry Dazie, I wish I could say that you are still in the game, but I am in the same boat as you so it is hard to stay positive. I think I am for sure out though, I am a few days ahead of you though so maybe you do still have a little hope. I am on CD 29 (13DPO) and still have a BFN I think AF is due in 2 days. My temps are ridiculously high though so I don't understand that. I'm not letting that get my hopes up though, I just wish AF would come already so I can get on with my next cycle! If anyone is a chart pro, can you look at my chart and tell me if this looks normal?

I'm not sick, I do have a stuffy nose every morning, but I have had that every day since 3 dpo so I don't think that is a factor. If my temps are a good sign, why would I still be getting a BFN at 13dpo? It's frustrating because I want to move on to the next cycle but my temps keep me hanging on to this one. I do do think I might be getting a uti because I always have to pee, would that make any difference at all?

Also how do I add my chart to the bottom of every post I make automatically?

Thorz - I like the temp rise but would have liked it better if it had happened a couple days ago. I think it could go either way - you may have a late implanter or you may just have higher temps for a couple days and then going to get AF. It doesn't totally scream pg to me like some charts do because the timing isn't quite right. :fx:

Thanks for taking a look atomic, I was thinking the same thing, the dip for a few days and then the temp rise is a little late. Its just with DS2 (the other 2 DS I didn't test until AF was due) I was able to get a BFP 5 days before my missed period so I would think that it would already show up if I was PG. However, everything about this cycle is different so maybe being a late implanter is different too. My cycles are normally 25 days and I have a 13 day LP so I usually ovulate on day 11 or 12 but this time I didn't ovulate until day 16. Maybe I just have a slow moving egg! I guess I can speculate all day and night but today is 13dpo so I should know tomorrow or the next day!

Right under your chart on ff, there is a "Share" button. Hit this and it will take you to a screen with different codes. I use the bbCode called "Chart Thumbnail." Copy and paste it into your siggie and you should be good to go.

Well I had a positive cheap ovulation test from the 11th 2 he 13th do u think it's still possible?? Iv had no spotting or anything and my boobs r really tender which they never wud b xx

It's so hard to be positive isn't it.... This wud usually b the day my period wud come and I'mnot feeling the bloating or anything but I'm not sure when I got my positives before but I really thought with those 6 day early ones I wud hav gotten bit by now... I hope u get ur BFP at soon too xx

Keep in mind it is also how sensitive the test you are using is. I don't think I would have gotten my BFP until 13 DPO using the test that you are using. Even FRER digital said "not pregnant" at 11 DPO for me. I think your charts and symptoms look good so I have my fx for you!! The waiting is sooooo hard I know and I wasn't even trying to get pg and the waiting was killing me. Hang in there sister and hope your kids feel better!!

I'm so sorry this wasn't your month:( It really stinks even no matter how long you've been ttc. We're in it together for this cycle! Its gonna happen for us when the time is right (which is going to be in January hopefully:)! I will be ovulating around January 3rd-5th, what about you?

FF is predicting Nov 10th but I think it will be a little earlier than that because this cycle was really really weird for me I ovulated late (I think it was from all the peppermint tea I was drinking Atomic said that can delay O) and spotted mid cycle on 2 different days (which I never do) and had a 28 day cycle when my cycles are ALWAYS 24-25 so since I am not swaying anymore, I wont be drinking peppermint tea and hopefully my cycles will go back to normal. This was my first month charting so I don't know if I had a usual CD for O. Do you know when to count this as CD1 I have read online a lot of different things like if AF comes after 5pm then you should count CD1 as the following day. But I have also read that as long as it is before midnight then that counts as CD1? I'm a bit confused, as AF ALWAYS comes in the morning, Like I said, this is a really weird cycle for me (maybe my hormones aren't back to normal after getting my IUD out 2 months ago).

Also, where does everyone buy their internet cheapie tests? I guess I better order some more OPKs and pregnancy tests, I'm tired of running to the dollar store!

I'm so sorry to hear that hopefully next month will b ur month.... I'm still in limbo no period and another Neg preg test today on day 28

Really sucks... I'm also in my second month trying. Another BFN this morning using the cheap online tests. However I'm now on CD 30, and abou 11 or 12 DPO. AF is due Sunday my time..so Saturday in the US and UK.

No queasyness today except for after dinner....having to pee a lot (but i am drinking a lot of water).

Will just continue to wait and drive myself crazy.

Sorry Thorz, maybe see you in the Jan thread?? I'm CD5 today. This is the longest I've ever had to try for too - I'm heading into my third cycle now. It's hard to get my head around not getting a healthy pregnancy just because I want one!

My best friend just told me that she's 5 weeks pregnant. I'm delighted for her, but now I'm anxious to get pregnant quickly because I would love it if we were pregnant at the same time.
I was only saying to my DH last night that I wished she would get pregnant so we could be pregnant together.

I wasn't in a hurry for a BFP before, in fact, I was feeling fairly relaxed and was thinking it would be better if it took a couple of months because I have a lot on at the moment, but now I really hope I'm pregnant this month.

I was only saying to my DH last night that I wished she would get pregnant so we could be pregnant together.

I wasn't in a hurry for a BFP before, in fact, I was feeling fairly relaxed and was thinking it would be better if it took a couple of months because I have a lot on at the moment, but now I really hope I'm pregnant this month.

I came up after round 20 mins, I was so pee'd off when it was blank I left it and didn't come back to it, maybe it was there at 10 mins. i'm not sure now, maybe it is grey, I will have to wait til DH comes home to investigate further!!!! LOL

Hello everyone, just catching up on your news! Hope you've all had a good Christmas.

Many congratulations to you Northern, I wondered where you'd gone to! I totally understand staying away for a while, it's so hard to see all the BFPs and not get one yourself.

So sorry to those who have had a visit from the witch this week :mad:

I did have a good Christmas, but it was hard as it was my second Christmas TTC whilst on a diet. This time last year I was on the IG diet and all I've had to show for 2012 was a chemical in May - boo!!! So, 18 months of actively TTC with a 5 month break from any dieting (March-Aug '12) but I wasted far too long using the Shettles method.

Anyway, I'm trying to keep my pecker up (& hubby's!) as I went to the doc last week and I'm going to be referred to a gynaecologist with the prospect of clomid. My longish cycles don't help as I ov anywhere between cd14 - cd22 and I gave up on OPKs this month thinking I could use CP and CM. We DTD 2.5 days before Ov, which I know was too far away for us (from the last year+) and again on ov day, but I'm just not feeling it. Starting to get my usual af cramps on CD9 today, so am sure I'm out. I do have days of utter despair and don't think I'll ever see a BFP, especially as both of my DS's were conceived the second month of trying!

I shan't give up as I'm a tenacious little bugger and the way my body reacted to Christmas dinner with a little turkey, ham & sausage plus Christmas pud & choc brownies :holysheep: has totally re-inforced my dedication to the LE diet. I feel good on it and love my veggies. I had such stomach cramps despite not going mad + eating a lot that day. I'm glad to be back to eating 'norma'l!

Onwards and upwards for me and I know I'll be glad of your company next month ladies in the TTC Jan thread. Just waiting for my blood results from today to come back and (FX) confirm ov this month. Has anyone had bruising from taking SP? Not noticed it before but doc looked a little concerned at the bruise left from last week's blood test. I only took it from CD1-CD7 this month and I'll be dropping it next time.

Dreamin, thank you. I'm feeling slightly more relaxed each day and will only do one more CB test on the 31st to make sure the weeks are going up!

We've told hubby's family as I'd be 12 weeks when SIL is due, so didn't want to steal her thunder or be annoyed if you know what i mean! Plus, with me not eating soft cheeses or deli meat, or drinking alcohol specifically bought for me, we thought it may be obvious, so shared the news on Boxing Day. They're all happy but SIL is convinced its twins because I had such an early bfp!

Good luck to you, I hope it happens soon, you've done to do the diet for so long! I'm now watching what I eat and making sure I am having my iron as I suffer from anaemia during pregnancy.

Did you try using the second urine for testing as wantingpink described about a week ago in this thread? It worked gor me and I got a pretty clear line. GL testing, have my fx for you.

Well another day of bfn... Still got 2 more days till af is due... On the bright side looks like I might be able to have a drink on New Year's Eve but will keep my fingers crossed for a bfp in the next 2 days

I tested this morning and it was a bfn, I'm only 8dpo though (ticker is wrong) and I've never got a bfp before 11dpo before, so still feeling hopeful.

Feeling really rotten today, full of cold, af cramps and a sore throat. Feel even worse as my cousin had her 1st baby today and a family friend had hers today too. So that's 3 babies born (other cousin had her second in July) in the time that we've been TTC and still no BFP. I feel like such a failure especially as eveyone's had natural births whereas I've had to have two sections due to very serious complications. Doubt I'll ever get to give birth properly. Such a pity party here today, which just makes me feel worse as I hate wallowing in self-pity. It's exacerbated by upsetting my mum this morning when she rang with the news about the babies as it's also the 9th anniversary of her Mum's death. She told me not to keep bringing it round to myself all the time and that we've been trying too hard. I just feel so so awful about everything and can't turn to anyone, friends and family must be so sick of me always failing to get a BFP each month and getting upset although I've hidden it a lot in the last few months. After all I have two healthy beautiful children whereas another cousin has a terminally ill child with a genetic disease and hasn't been able to conceive any more children through genetic therapy IVF. I should therefore 'be grateful for what I have' and I don't think my mum understands my desire for more children as she was very happy with her two girls. Please don't get me wrong I am happy for my cousin and friend, but it's been a really long hard year. I can't wait to see the back of it now! Af's a wicked witch and I could do without the usual pmt making me feel even worse.

DS1 has been giving me lots of cuddles though, he's so sensitive and knows when I'm feeling down. My children are such a blessing but I have a big space in my heart waiting to be filled by number three. I'm not about to give up on the diet but i just want to be pg now. Sorry for the rambling message but I needed to get it off my chest. Thanks for reading.

Dreamofpink I was saying similar things to my DH last night. It's only my first month trying, but it's bringing back all the memories of trying to get pregnant with DS2, and everyone else around me getting pregnant and me still not pregnant yet.
There just seems to be so many people who always get pregnant first try, including my mother who always used to say "he only has to look at me and I'm pregnant". I don't know why I haven't inherited it. I know how it gets you down month after month of BFNs.
My best who is 5 weeks pregnant got pregnant by accident. I'm so jealous I would love to get pregnant by accident! It must be amazing. But even when we are careless I never get pregnant, we have to be really trying.

With DS2 it was the month that I was really upset and despairing about it that I finally got pregnant. I was 5dpo on New Years eve and decided to get drunk because I thought I wasn't going to be pregnant, because every month I was never pregnant, but this time I was.

AF cramps could be a pregnancy sign, I really hope this is your month because you deserve it.

I am now gonna start the diet again full on and hope for a BFP before my DH birthday on the 1st March, would love to put the test in a box like northern shutterbug, his face would be priceless, he is so into thisTTC this time, I think it is because we are trying so hard for a girl!!!
He did say this morn though to calm down and relax a few things and enjoy it a bit more, it is so mechanical!!! I don't even feel like DTD in my non fertile phases, neither does he!!!

Awh Christmas must bring it out in us, I actually had the same conversation with DH last night, My sister is sure to come to me in the new year and say, we are going to try in March and I swear she will get pregnant first time she always does, OK I did get pregnant a few times accidentally, nice accidents might I add. But when I really try to get pregnant it takes me 14/15 months!!! I started trying for this one last Feb, was gobsmacked when I got pregnant in may, only for it to end in miscarriage!!!! Hope it happens soon for us!

Just wanted to say thanks for all the support. AF was due today but nothing, another BFN :worry:

I feel like AF is coming but i have felt like that for the past 2 days, and normally i only do for 24 hours. As much as I don't want it to come i just want to be put out of my misery a BFP or AF....

Letiha, I hope you come out of limbo soon, I was like that last month and it was horrible. I was 2 days late before AF finally turned up and I was getting the usual sore boobs, cramps, etc but just knew I wasn't pregnant. It was a releif when AF did arrive.

But then, I've heard of quite a few people getting BFPs really late after their AF was due. I guess one reason could be because of late implantation. How long are your cycles normally? If its 28 days, you ovulated on day 16 but didn't implant until 12dpo, then a BFP would only start showing 2-3 days after AF was due.

BFN for me this morning too. I'm 10dpo (ticker is wrong) and starting to get disheartened. I'm still hoping I'll get a BFP tomorrow, as I got a BFN at 10dpo with DS2, and then a BFP at 11dpo. But I think it's probably unlikely. If I don't get a BFP tomorrow then I know I'm out.

My cycle is about 32-33 days long, AF will come 14 days post ovulation. I went and reviewed my ovulation charts today aswell and the dates all checked out...plus my tempreture is still high. Playing the waiting game.

My boobie hurt a ridiculous amount you know the pain that you get when breast milk is drying up it feels like that almost! Usually my nipples hurt a bit before Af ... My body is playing tricks on me I think.... I have been sick all week too so I havnt been able to symptom spot at all... Maybe that's a good thing

Had my bloods done this month, happy that I'm ov'ing but prog levels had dropped quite a bit at 9dpo so guess I'm out. On cd13 af will prob arrive next year :-) ha ha! Don't do hpts as can't take the disappointment with every bfn over the last 18 months. Been referred to gynae now, appt roughly in a fortnight so if this month doesn't work, I may get clomid in time for Feb. Part of me's tempted to wait for the clomid but it's no guarantee of a quick bfp and after almost 5 months of diet I'd be pushing my luck with dh! Besides I'm only assuming that I'll get it, I may not.

Anyhoo happy new year to you all, may 2013 bring you your gd dreams!
