Well it's nearly Christmas and I can't think of a better present than a pink sticky bean! How is everyone doing?

I think I am about 5DPO so not too long to wait to test!

It also doesn't help that our good friends (the type of friends that seem to do everything we do) are suddenly PG with their 3rd after DH couldn't keep quiet about us trying for #3 :(

You sound just like me in that our two boys happened just because we decided to start trying. First month TTC both times. This time round we started the LE diet in Sept and sort of tried in Oct but as my cycle went weird on me we basically missed the fertile window by a week so I'm not sure I'd count that month as "trying" really! ;)

This cycle was even longer with my positive OPK on CD30! Good thing was that we DTD every day from CD20 so perfect FR for my fertile window as it happens. Fingers crossed for us all!

How are you doing with the diet in the 2ww? I've been sticking to the calories but allowing slightly more fat and protein within that as I'm so hungry!

yeah bfn for me today too even though the only time ive had a temp above 98.6 is when i was pregnant. and ive been charting for years! i wont test tomorrow though unless my temp is still high. tired of wasting tests!

Hoping everyone gets their wish for Christmas this year!

I'm at 6dpo and likely testing on Friday at 11dpo before my holiday party- we'll be riding coasters and having a cocktail or two if no bfp. At this point I feel like I'll get pregnant at some point, but trying to stop thinking every month that this is my month.

Some people seem to get positives from 8DPO but loads get negatives and then a BFP nearer 14DPO as it was too early. I guess it depends on how long you can wait. I'm hoping to wait till AF is due to test, ie 14DPO but I know I'll be tempted to test this weekend!

Do you feel like you are pregnant? You are right either you have implanted or you haven't at this point. Go with what your gut feeling is!! Did you cave and test today??

I honestly have no idea if I am or not. I'm pretty tired but we're all fighting colds here so it could just be that. So I went for gluttony, well not gluttony of my usual standard but definitely ate more than I have since August! About 2000 cals where I've been having 1800. Felt soooooo full after.

I've not tested yet and feel strong enough to resist again today. I really really don't want a false negative. I may test tomorrow as I'll be 10DPO .

I feel good about my chances of getting pregnant, but getting a girl is a whole different story. I did't use anything as far as douche or rephresh goes when we DTD last night (all other times DTD during this cycle I used vinegar douche) then about 20 min after DTD last night (24 hours after my last douche) I used rephresh so we DTD this morning (9 hours after using rephresh) and now we are done, We might DTD tonight just in case, but I think O is over so it really will be more for fun. We tried to do FR but because of DH schedule it didn't work out to well and I think as far as when and how often we DTD it might sway blue. My diet was no where near as strict as it was last month because I couldn't afford to lose anymore weight (BMI is at 16.6) but I did do well with my supps and started drinking Pep tea, which I actually really like! So hopefully I get lucky and a pink bean sticks this time, as I think this might be my last attempt!

Hi all. I'm day 3 post O and already feeling pretty inpatient with the 2ww! We completely messed up our attempt this month. Every month I usually O CD18 to 20 so when we BD CD12,13,14 I didn't think anything of it and did not douche/replens/antihistamine. Then out of nowhere I O'd completely unexpectedly on CD14! Feeling very nervous about it all-likelihood of pg probably pretty high but no so great for a pink attempt!?! I already have a DS and very much hoping for a pink bean! Will be joining you here anxiously for the next 10 days xx

Joining you ladies! I am waiting for cross hairs on my chart from FF but I am pretty sure I ovulated Thursday and my temps have gone up the past days. The frequency/timing part got a little messed up and we ended up doing it on CD 8, late on day 13 because I thought my OPK was positive and then I actually got two days of very positive OPKS on day 14 and 15. So I got nervous and we BD'ed last minute on day 16 which was the day of O. I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle so am happy I ovulated pretty much on time. I had more EWCM than I usually do but I took Zyrtec. I feel like my chances of conceiving are higher since we DTD on the morning of O but I also feel like I swayed boy now. Guess we'll see if I am pregnant first. It is going to be a long 2 weeks. But I will be glad to know if I am pregnant before Christmas as we are traveling. Good luck to you all!

BMI 16.6 that's v low, I can see your point but I hope it sways pink for you this month. I am BmI 19 so I still have couple of months to go but that would be it. After 7 weeks dieting I lost 8 pounds and now I am less strict with it which is not ideal.

To be honest, this is only our 2nd cycle ttc and I am already loosing motivation as far as the diet goes. I really want too keep it up, because I think there is something to it, but like I said, it really isn't an option for me to lose anymore weight. I am not a meat eater anyway, so it is easy for me to cut the meat out completely and to skip breakfast, but after that, I think I'm just gonna eat what I normally would but cut out things like raman noodles, chips, and salty popcorn (which used to be staples in my diet). I can't believe you have done this diet for 7 weeks, so many of you ladies amaze me!!

So testing again this morning (10dpo) and still neg. This waiting is sooooo hard!! I can't even have a glass of wine to deal with the anxiety I have about all of this right now. Isn't FRER suppose to be positive by 10DPO? Have a lot of people gotten positives after 10dpo if they are using FRER?

So I may have miscalculated and I'm not even sure if I have ovulated! Tell me what you ladies think please......So my cycle is generally always 25 days long on Friday cd 10 I got what I thought was a +opk and I had EWCM and my CP was soft but not super high. I also started to get ovulation spotting. Oh and ff predicted Saturday (cd11) to O. So this is my first month temping and my temps were staying in the same range all week. Then on Saturday (cd11 and day after my +opk, spotting, and EWCM) my temp dipped so I thought for sure that meant I ovulated on CD 11 so I was totally expecting my temp to shoot up on CD 12 but it didn't it only went back up to my normal range. To then this morning I thought it HAD to go up my cervix is hard and medium texture and I now have creamy CM but alas, my temp dropped slightly!!! I'm now worried I might not O this cycle because if I O now or in the next few days, my LP will be too short to sustain a pregnancy anyway :(

I hope my explanation of this all makes since, I'm gonna try and post a link to my chart so you can understand better, please let me know your thoughts!!, I also want to mention I had a chemical last month :( I'm worried I may have O issues or LP issues

Also, if you drinking water throughout the night that can affect your oral temp as well. It sounds like you did ovulate from your description of symptoms:/ Good luck:)

Sounds like we're on the same schedule. I'm pretty sure I O'd on Sunday. This next 2 weeks is going to be soo hard! Especially with all the Christmas goodies that are everywhere I look! Hope we both get a BFP as a Christmas gift! When are you planning on testing?

Temps can be a really difficult thing. I was taking my temp for about a year and this is how I got my temp to be "accurate":

- Test with a digital basal thermometer (not a fever thermometer)
- Test at the same time every day (even on weekends)
- Test right when you wake up. Do it the very first thing. Keep the thermometer by your bed.
- Test internally (vaginally), if you have your mouth open when you sleep the temp will be cooler. Also, different areas underneath your tougue are different temps. You have to put the thermometer in the exact same place.
- Not getting enough sleep or getting too much sleep can cause your temp to fluctuate so you have to go to bed at the same time every night also.
- Drinking alcohol can definitely affect your temp (it did mine)!!
- Don't fluctuate the temperature of the house too much at night.
- Don't use an electric blanket.
- Also, if you do any of the above things to change your temp you need to note it on your chart.

Not all these factors affect all women and some women can wake up whenever they feel like and it won't affect their basal temp but I wasn't one of these people.

Also, don't get too freaked out with the whole temp thing. If your cycles are regular and you are doing OPKs every morning and night through O then you should be just fine. I can feel O pain and I noticed that it would often times take me 2-3 days for my temps to go down.

Hey everyone, I'm new here, hope it's ok to jump in. I'm in the 2ww of a NTNP cycle (expecting AF Thursday), and then gearing up to 'officially' TTC #3. I've enjoyed looking around and getting info on the site. I'm also an u/s tech and have been interested in swaying and 'nubs' since my first pregnancy in 2008.

Thank you everyone!! Okay so I took another one this morning hoping the line would be a little darker than last night and it wasn't?? Not sure what to think about this. Now I have a slight positive and I want to see it get darker!! Anyone know of any good HPT progression pictures on here?

Okay so I found this great progression photo so now I am not so freaked out now. With my first 2 children I didn't know about most of the things I know now (chemicals, line not getting darker with an ectopic, etc.) so when I found out I was pregnant I was able to relax and enjoy it more. Knowledge can be mentally draining:)

Sorry I am such a spaz!! I do have some good early pregnancy "signs" like my boobs are really sore, I feel a little nauseous every now and then, my sense of smell is through the roof, I am ultra hungry, and I have the achy/crampy lower abdomen.

Well I guess I'm out of the 2ww!!! Ugh my body is playing tricks on me, I guess I actually haven't ovulated yet, but I did just get another + opk so I guess i'llbe back in the2ww in a few days. now because of this silly body of mine, it will be more like a 3ww. Booooo! Here is to hoping I ACTUALLY ovulate this time, it is my second +opk this cycle. But my temp never shifted. Lets hope it does this time!

Not sure because I haven't been tracking ovulation but I think I'm around 8-10 dpo. Just from tracking my period start date for the last few months, FF expected my period today.

Lately they are about 22 or 23 days long. I've never had really long ones, never really longer than 28 even when I was younger. Looking back in FF, when I conceived my other 3 they were relatively short then too. Maybe it's just taking some time to catch the egg. It just seems weird though when I know we have dtd close enough to O to not get preggo.

So after the horrific shooting in Connecticut, I have decided I am not going to sway anymore, I realized that for me, I just want one more angel to complete my family, and which ever sex the lord decides to bless me with, I will be happy! with that said, my diet went out the window, it felt so good to eat some of my favorite foods, French onion soup,chips and salsa, buttered popcorn, but I just ate Raman noodles for Lunch and I almost immediately threw up!! i was able to hold it down, but i felt so nauseated for about a half hour!! Weird, I know it is way too early for those types of signs since I am only 3dpo but a girl can hope right?!?!

i'm only doing the diet anymore. I was doing everything in the beginning and still haven't gotten preg. I've dropped everything but the diet. And i still cheat here and there. I stick mostly to the two meals a day but every once in a while have a bite of chicken. LOL

Sorry to hear that! I was drinking peppermint tea which I heard is a lot like SP and it messed with my cycle, I stopped drinking it and 2 days later O came, I really believe it was slowing O maybe the SP is messing with your cycle in some way too. I'm no expert, and I don't know anything about vitex but if you think they are messing with your cycle, they probably are. My cycle has always been like clock work... 25 day cycle with O on day CD 11 or 12 this time it didn't come until day 16. Anyway, good luck, sorry AF might be other way!

I can't decide whats worse; a BFN or AF:/ Its always tough deciding when to test. What a great Christmas present a BFP would be for both of us:)

I haven't heard about the evaporation line before but you are right, it could well be that. I have to admit I never spend so long looking at a strip of paper before :-) My eyes desperately wanted to see a line there. I even kept on tilting it against the light in hope of seeing something :-) I might retake tonight just to see if it was the evaporate line.

I think I'll be joining you ladies tomorrow, ov day today. Not holding out much hope, got lost with it all thinking I'd already ov'd so dtd cd14, 15, 16 missed 17 & 18 and ov'd today. DTD today just a few hours after my EWCM, not sure it would've been enough. I only ever get EWCM the day before (sometimes) and on ov day, so know that's it for me now. CP was absolutely useless and my cm had gone white on cd17&18 making me think I'd ov'd. Wish I ahdn't given up on the opks now but they were stressing me out!!! Went to see doc today too, so will have bloods done to confirm ov. I'm also having them done on cd28 due to late ov, so any chance a bfp'd show do you think? I'd be 9dpo, not sure if they even look for that anyway!! Gosh this is all SOOO hard!!!!! Have had a good few cries today :(

I'm still waiting on AF...spotted on 8DPO, 9DPO, and still spotting today (10DPO). Only brown blood. Tested today just in case...BFN. Is there still a chance for me this month? I'm on 8 dpo today. No signs whatsoever, but tested this morning regardless :). Total waste of time, but at least it feels like I'm doing something. Completely futile I know, but I'm so impatient.

I don't feel any different anyway. Just feel v pre-menstrual - bloated, teary and emotional. With ds1, my nipples went dark and spotty quickly, none of that now. But I do remember being quite surprised when I got a bfp with ds2. I dont think i had pre-tests symptoms 2nd time around. That's giving me some hope at the moment, but I am not expecting a positive.

Such a roller coaster isn't it. I wish I was more laid back.

Well I was definitely seeing things...AF reared her ugly head this afternoon:( The ironic part is that she came while I was at the store stocking up on pregnancy tests. Not really sure if I should take a month off due to the tempting holidays or try to muscle through with only a couple cheats. Thank you for encouraging words. My bbs are unusually tender but it could be just PMS. I feel AF is on its way which again doesn't have to be a bad thing. With my DS1 I was persuaded AF would arrive. I guess soon we will know but I don't want to feel disappointed when not pg.

I am so sorry to hear that, I am on my first month and feel exactly like you. The chances are low. If you can try to do another month, what if you get pg next month and then you don't have to worry about dieting anymore. I know it's not easy with the festivities but they will be over soon.

I have a luteal phase defect. I had it with DS2 and was on progesterone suppositories. I tried to avoid them this time by taking OTC progesterone cream but all it did was give me red skin and cramps:( I have a call into my MD to get a script for them for this cycle.

That is a great attitude, I wish I had that same feeling, to me it meant "Oh no another month of this stupid diet" but now I am not swaying anymore so even if I don't get pregnant this time, I don't have to worry about the silly diet (it was REALLY hard for me since I have such a low bmi)

Oh my, I do not know what this is.....it can either be AF approaching or sign of PG....I don't know because it has never happened to me! I am so weepy and emotional. I spent an hour fixing my 22 month olds favorite blanket (a crocheted afghan I made him while I was pg/ him and on bed rest) I was so excited for him to see it (since I hadn't let him use it for over a week because of the whole) anyway, when he saw it he could careless about it...........that made me CRY!!!! What in the world????? Why would that make me cry?!!?? Then, I was making dinner and I didn't have everything I needed so I had to make substitutes and that made me cry?!?! I don't know if I can pin this on early pg signs or on AF because I have never experienced this with AF or ANY of my pregnancies LOL I feel so dumb. My husband didn't know how to react when I told him why I was crying...... Really it seems anything can be a symptom so I'm trying not to get my hopes up! I'm only 6dpo so who knows......I think I'll test on Christmas Eve or Christmas!

Yes, that is the big difference for me too. I always know I am PG because my bbs and nipples get very sore and sensitive. It started happening for me this time on 3 DPO and I thought I was being completely mental (which has also been known to happen around AF):)

LOL unfortunately I have NEVER had the boob symptom because when I was 19 I got a breast reduction and the sensation to the nipples is quite depleted :( With my first son I found out I was pg because of the sharp pinch/pains in my ovary uterus area, that was my ONLY symptom, with DS2 the same thing, I started feeling those pinch/pains at about 6 dpo but with DS3 I didn't feel a single pain and the only reason I even POAS is because we went out to eat and I couldn't get enough of the french onion soup!!! It was like I was famished and the only thing that could make it better was that soup, and I couldn't get enough of it....DS looked at me and said "are you PG"? I said "NO" because I haven't "felt any pains" just goes to prove that every pregnancy is different, that is another reason why I don't want to get my hopes up.....I have had a few of the pains but no where near what I felt with my 1st 2 boys!!! Oh the joys of the 2ww!

I think I'm out. 10dpo today and just got a bfn. I know it's not over till af arrives, but I just don't feel any different to normal. I know af is on her way - moody and teary as usual, tired, back ache and dizzy. It seems extra disappointing this cycle, what with Xmas being around the corner and all.

Hi, I'm going to "crash" this thread! I'm 39 and TTCing no 4, this month has been my second attempt, my last was a chemical. So, I'm really confused now. I have very regular cycles, my LMP was 21 Nov and I Oed on day 13-14. I got my first bfp with FRER on 10dpo but it was really faint and stayed faint. By day 12dpo it had gone and I used my last FRER on Tues (13dpo) and it was still negative. On that day I had a bit of cramping and I thought it was all over for this cycle.

BUT, something made me test again tonight as AF hasn't come and she's about a day late and I have cramps but they're different and I have a faint but definitely there BFP. And it's late here so it's an end of day test. I'm 15dpo.

Could I have ovulated twice in one cycle???

I don't think I can deal with the roller coaster of another chemical quite so soon.

So this might be tmi, but I was wondering if a yeast infection might be a sign of pregnancy? I have never had a yeast infection, but my vj has started to feel itchy and not normal. Because I have never had one, I had to look up the symptoms and almost everything I have read says this is the start of a yeast infection. Does anyone know if this might be a sign of pregnancy? I know we all grasp at straws during the 2ww but this is just so weird for me because I truly have never had one!

Im 7dpo! My husband says he thinks I am pg. He is a doctor but not an OBGYN so I don't know how much he really knows about this stuff. But he knew before I did with my last pg. I don't really "feel" like I am one way or another so far, I am 1for 3 for "knowing" im pregnant before testing and my husband is 1/3 too, so obviously we aren't very good at knowing before hand.

Are you always using your first morning urine? That is the only thing I can think of as to why it wouldn't show up after it already did!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, and hopefully my vj irritation is a sign of pregnancy for me and/or a sign its a girl :)

I still have no idea what's going on with me, my FRER this am didn't work - no control line but my Internet cheapies arrived today. No sign of AF at 16dpo. 2 of my 3 BFNs done after my day 10-12dpo BFPs were first morning samples so I'm not sure how they became positive again yesterday? Bearing in mind that I was a normal person I wouldn't have tested a million times between 10dpo and now. I'll do an Internet test tonight when the girls are down.

Overall it still feels like it'll probably be just a continuation of the chemical so I'm not getting too excited yet.

I have 13 month old baby girl and i wasn t planning to wait this 2 weeks. :( we were using pull out as birth control. I know it sounds silly but we did this with the calendar , since the beginning which means 8 years. My period started 3 month ago and it was surprisingly regular. This time i did feel some cramps on my right side 7 days later than my O day. I didn t think it was O. And we dtd that night. In the morning i had tons of Ewcm. You know what that means. :(( day past dtd is 9. Today we are leaving for a vacation. I don t want to test and ruin my vacation. I love babies but we werent planning this until february. I hope AF shows up very soon.

If i am pregnant this is gonna be our first surprise baby. Of course she/he ll be loved. But hope can wait some more.

Maybe I'll try to skip tomorrow and test again on sunday. Sunday will be 10dpo .

I simply can't believe this. I got BFN at 11pdo at very sensitive test so I didn't test at 12pdo. I was just waiting for my AF to arrive. Today at 13pdo I felt pg so I tested and I got a faint line!!! I will test tomorrow to see if it gets any darker. Now I feel guilty of drinking 3x diet coke a day plus eating yogurts with sweeteners. Do you think I did any damage? x

It has to be a BFP, you had the symptom as well. Pre Christmas socialising kept me busy for couple of days and I am just catching up with the posts now. It's brilliant news for both of us. I am retesting tomorrow to confirm. Keep us posted and fingers crossed!!!

Then I don't drink ANYTHING I wait about 1/2 - 1 hour and test that sample (it will be small but you don't need much to dip). It will be super concentrated and more than FMU. Yay!!! Can you post pics of your faint line?? I think you will be fine. I didn't know I was pregnant with my first until 5 or 6 weeks, and I was drinking lots of diet Mt Dew, he is a healthy and extremely smart little 6 year old now!

Congrats Girlsway!! Did you figure out your due date? That was what I did as soon as I got a BFP. Can't wait to see the pics... I think they are so much fun. I don't have any morning sickness YET. I keep thinking it is going to come because of how sick I was with DS1 and even more sick with DS2. I definitely have some food aversions because I can smell them so much better!! Really hope the morning sickness can stay away through Christmas so my family doesn't start wondering why I am not eating as usual. Does your DH know yet?

Good luck Thorz and Girlsway! I'm sure I'm out. My Internet cheapie was a stark white BFN although I found an unopened Crystal Clear and dipped it and got a BFP on the same urine. I don't really trust that brand though. Overall though I don't feel pregnant and I'd expect a bit more in the way of symptoms at 17dpo. Just hoping AF comes sooun as my in laws are coming to stay in early Jan and I don't want to be ovulating when they're here (I find frequent bding with guests in the house a bit weird, not sure why).

Well hopefully that crystal clear was right, make sure to test again with your morning urine!

I'm not testing tomorrow but I will on Sunday (or so I say now, but I might just change my mind by the morning!)

It's notorious for blue evap lines, usually after 10 minutes but sometimes quite quickly, so it's not a useful result. I'm testing Monday, I've decided. Good luck to everyone else

Morning girls! I couldn't sleep properly with the excitement of testing and despite the weekend I am up early POAS! I used a proper brand this time round and the second urine (thank you WantingPink for the tip) and it did the trick. I got a very clear BFP. I am over the moon but it's still early days. The due date would be 1.9. which is coincidentally our wedding anniversary :-) DH had a day off yesterday so he knew straight away. He was very pleased and slightly surprised that it's possible to get pg like this. Good luck Thorz300, are you retesting this morning? Mum to 3 girls dont loose hope, I did at 11dpo and I regret it now (I literary overdosed on sweeteners) I wish I waited longer, plus I was just guessing when I ovulated, I wasn't checking the temperature (I only used OPKs) so its possible I am still on 12 or 13dpo. I will send pics from my desktop later on today.

Fertility friend is telling me that I'm 3dpo today, but I'm sure it's wrong as the first elevated temperature, while slightly higher than the preceding temps, is a typical pre O temp for me. The following two temps are way higher. I've tried changing the settings on ff, but it just keeps telling me I'm 3dpo. I'm only 2dpo.

I think your chart looks great!! The dip could mean lots of things but it is above coverline so no worries!! Your symptoms are so similar to mine it is kind of freaky. I know what you mean about waiting to test. I started testing 8 DPO and every time I got a neg I had to keep telling myself "it doesn't mean anything". I think if you can wait that would be good. Also, part of me wanted to know exactly when I started testing positive to see if it meant anything about the gender. GL and let us know when you decide to test!!

I'm feeling really blue right now I don't know if I would say depressed, but kind of.....I'm feeling a lot of different symptoms, symptoms that I have never had with any of my other pregnancies..... I don't want to get my hopes up right now but seriously I have a laundry load of symptoms: SUPER irritable, weepy, low low low energy, ALWAYS thirsty, crazy sense of smell, food aversions, nausea, headaches, I had a vaginal itch that went away, I wake up with a stuffy nose but I am not sick, and dull sharp pains in my uterus.....there are a lot more but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.....tomorrow I will be 10dpo and part of me still doesn't want to POAS! I think I am feeling extremely lonely too (maybe another symptom) because we are from Utah, and now live in Ohio, far away from family and it is the holidays and my husband is on call at the hospital all weekend and 2 of my 3 boys are sick....last month I think I had a chemical, so I am almost bummed I have signs and symptoms because I don't want to get my hopes up. Sorry, I think I am just really lonely, with my hubby being gone, and super emotional, I don't mean to have a pity party on here, but right now its the only communication I have with people older than 6!!! I have facebook too, but I'm not the kind of person to air my emotional issues on facebook lol!

We had a try this month, we weren't gonna, but as it was before Christmas day and all the rich eating we will do, we went for it!! I will be 7DPO on Christmas Day, I was gonna test, it would be a lovely surprise. But DH said no wait for a few more dys, because he doesn't want to ruin Christmas if it a BFN!! I know exactly how you feel and I know it is tough especially this time of year. Hang in there!! All your symptoms are the exact same ones that I had especially being thirsty, irritable, and my pregnancy "smell" kicked into high gear on 10 DPO. I think you are a strong person to have waited this long to test... I say go for it tomorrow!! Just remember that a neg doesn't mean anything but a positive definitely would:) Hope you don't feel so down tomorrow. You should do something really fun with your kids tomorrow. Take them out to breakfast, bake and decorate cookies, make a gingerbread house.

I did POAS this morning BFN ugh oh well....I cant go anywhere because my 4 year old is super sick high fever of nearly 104 poor kid was sick with strep throat on his birthday last month now gonna be sick on Christmas! Ugh on top of it all my 22 month old suddenly won't sleep through the night or take naps and just screams and screams and screams! Even when he sees me getting his pajamas out at night he starts throwing a fit. I don't know what to do he used to sleep so well now suddenly it is almost like he is terrified to sleep. I don't know what to do. Luckily everything is good with my oldest he is a very helpful 6 year old!

Thorz you're still really early, I got a BFN at 10dpo with DS2 and then a very faint BFP at 11dpo.

Pebmcp6 I really hope this is your month. Your DH is probably right as it's unlikely you would get a BFP at 7dpo, I hope you get a BFP in time for New Years!


I think I'm going to stop temping now. I've confirmed that I've ovulated, I don't want to stress myself out looking at patterns in my chart. I'd rather be blissfully unaware if my temp is falling!

Thorz, conceiving the first three were easy, DD1 was an accident. DD2 was on the second cycle and DD3 was about a month after having my hormonal IUD removed. I've only been "trying" for two cycles so far but swaying seems to give the whole thing a different focus. I'm 39 now though and that's what I'm blaming the chemicals on! I'm also a bit worried that the breastfeeding (my youngest is 10 months) may be affecting implantation but I have had very regular cycles since about three months post partum and DD2 was conceived easily whilst feeding DD1. I'd hate to wean to conceive and not be able to.

Even though I'd love a wee boy I'd really just love a baby. We always wanted 3 or 4 and the main reason for having a 4th would be to balance things out. The first two are only 19 months apart in age and are BEST FRIENDS (and worst enemies) but they very close. There's a 4 year age gap between DD2 and DD3 which was due to post grad study and a whole heap of work and training stuff I wanted to finish off (even though I only work about 1 1/2 days a week now) so I'd kind of like her to have a buddy as well. Of course, we assumed it'd happen immediately and now that it hasn't we're going to have to sit down and work out when it's time to stop. Maybe in another 2-3 months?? If I got pregnant and it stuck next month there's be a similar age gap but if it takes another 6 months it would sort of defeat our purpose.

I'm not sure how much a boy sway will "work" for me as my diet is very boy (minus the sweets but they're easy to give up), I'm a runner and pretty toned and with bfing it's pretty hard for me to gain weight. I don't want to give up running whilst TTC (and my family won't thank me if I do, as it's my stress release and time away from the girls) and I don't want to stop breastfeeding. I can give the diet, supplements and pre seed a good go though!

Plus you can't see the stars very well if the room is light so he actually liked the room really dark. A friend of ours had the same problem with their girl so they got her a beta fish for her room and told her that the fish would be lonely if she left it in the room by itself at night... apparently that worked too:)

Anyway my best guess is AF is due the 25th-28th probably the 27!!

The link was showing the picture that was posted here earlier (the one that shows 11 and 12 DPO, three internet tests). It is #79135. Right now it is on about page 212. The point is you can go in there and post a picture of your stick and then play around with the invert picture. That is what really convinced me that I was pregnant. There are TONS of pics in there of faintly positive that you can really see when you invert the picture. Also, what are you testing with. I found the internet tests to be more sensitive than FRER and definitely more sensitive than the FRER digital. The digital gave me a neg at 11 DPO when the internet "cheap" tests were reading positive. I got my internet tests from Early Detection Pregnancy Test (10 miu/ml HCG Sensitivity) (http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/extra-sensitive-pregnancy-test.html). Also did you read my post about doing the "second" morning urine? I was a little obsessed with finding out if I was pregnant and was pulling out all the stops to try and figure out if I was because I felt like I was. Definitely don't do any of these crazy things if you think it will stress you out even more. Also, BTW, Mrs. P didn't get a BPF until like 15 DPO and she is having a girl!!!

I'm doing the dollar store cheapies!! But I only have 5 left so I don't want to do more than 1 right away with it being Christmans and all I don't think I would get back to Dollar Tree before AF is due anyway. I did read about the 2nd morning urine and I might try that, what could it hurt right? Did you read that some where online? I don't want to stress too much, but my husband will finally be home tomorrow so then Christmas can truly begin and I can take my mind off of it all for a bit!

So I tested with dollar store ones also (I really am POAS psycho) and it didn't come up positive until 13 DPO. The sensitivity on the dollar store ones that I have are 25 miu/ml and the early detection internet ones are 10 miu/ml. So the good news is if you are using those you may not come up positive until 13-15 DPO.

I didn't read about it anywhere online it just kind of made sense to me... your FMU is concentrated because you don't drink all night however, your bladder is collecting urine all night and by morning you are dehydrated. So if you empty your bladder but wait to drink then that urine will be very concentrated. I am a Medical Technologist so I kind of geek out on that kind of stuff.

Hi Everyone,

I've not been on here for weeks, it was really getting me down after my last cycle ended in yet another negative, and everyone else was getting BFPs :tissue:

Anyway, am on cd28/10dpo and I got a v. faint bfp 3 days ago and it's got progressively stronger. Still not as strong as I'd like, but hopefully it'll carry on than end in yet another chemical.
