So last night (Monday) I posted asking if my OPK was positive. It looked very close to being positive so I it would be today (I have not yet tested today). I little background in case you missed my post:

I am on day 14 after a chemical pregnancy, have had EWCM for the past 2 days (which I never usually get), I took a Zyrtec yesterday at 2 pm and we ended up BD'ing at 11 pm)

When we went to bed last night, I was feeling so crappy (flu like symptoms) that I told my DH that we would have to BD in the morning which I though would give us a little more time for the abstain and because I figured I would be ovulating today and wanted a one time shot). Well, I was almost asleep and then he decided he was ready ;)

I had a huge temp spike (which I have never had one like this from 97.6 to 98.6) and I am not sure if it is because I am sick or because I took Zyrtec yesterday or because of my chemical pregnancy. I don't know if late BD'ing last night will make a difference or not!

Also, this cycle we ended up abstaining, kinda. We had sex early in the morning of CD8 and again yesterday at CD13. 5/6 days, not ideal I know.

Wondering what you all think. Not sure if we should BD again tonight.

UPDATE:
Just took POAS and got a very positive OPK. WWYD if you were me? Would you BD again tonight? Or hope that last night's sperm will make it to the egg. It seems like I have some cervical fluid to keep them around. I had a 5/6 day abstain and if I ovulate tomorrow, it will be a O-2 attempt. I just am not sure if I can get pregnant from that. Anyone?

Thank you for reading and any advice you can offer.

If your true intent was to do abstain, then you need to do one shot.
If you don't care, go for it. It's debatable whether it actually sways anyway. Diet is the biggest factor in swaying.

Yeah, I think I wanted to try to abstain because that is how I conceived my daughter (looking back and not knowing about swaying) but I also want to get pregnant this month. But I have had EWCM this time and I have never had it before. My diet also hasn't been super girly because I thought I was pregnant 14 days ago and started to eat really healthy and take vitamins and all that jazz. The only thing I did differently yesterday was take a Zyrtec and baby aspirin.

Only Beadin responded but we did NOT end up BD'ing last night mainly because my husband had school and was feeling sick too. But I thought about it this morning but then my daughter woke up early and my husband had an early meeting. I had a positive OPK yesterday around 2 pm. And we BD'ed Monday night at 11 pm. So I assume I will ovulate at some point today. My CF is now more wet. I am not sure what the chances are of my conceiving with a one time attempt at O-2.

All that being said, I kinda wish I never came across this page. I wish I did not know about swaying so that I could just sit back and try and not worry. I conceived my daughter without knowing before. It sucks because now I can never decide what to do. Its great for all you ladies with successes and I am sure you attribute it to the information you found here.

If it were me, I probably would have given it one more shot...just to make sure the sperm meets the egg IYKWIM. BUT, like beadin said, the diet is the most important thing, and don't worry, a few days of vitamins isn't going to undo all that you've done. Good luck!

I know, the more I think about it, the more I just want a baby. I had a positive OPK yesterday around 2 or 3 so I am hoping I can BD tonight and maybe there is still a chance. If not, maybe the sperm from 2 days ago got there. I had CM this month so maybe that will help.

Because you have a lot of CM and were trying for abstain, I would prob. just leave it.

Another option would be to do another attempt with hurry up FR.

We honestly don't know what is best and my darn crystal ball has been in the shop forever!! Whatever you decide is the right decision.

I'm sorry, this has been a rough couple week, I feel like I wasn't able to answer your q's in a timely fashion.

I agree that in some ways not knowing may be easier, but it can look a little different when you already have 4 boys :fight: LOL and you'd move heaven and earth to squeak out something that swayed by .005% :) Sending you my apologies, pink dust, and good luck!!
