Greetings,
I'm new to this board. My husband and I are still newlyweds, but are looking to try shortly after our 1yr anniversary in March. He thinks it's crazy to consider shettles, or gender swaying, but I'm so glad to have found dedicated forums to this. We really want to try for a boy first, so I'm excited to get to know the rest of you, and learn all about gender swaying.

I just wanted to let you know that Shettles has been completely debunked as far as what he thought he saw under the microscope..XX and XY sperm.. But what he actually saw were sperm going through different stages of maturation that sperm must undergo to fertilize an egg.
So one of the biggest things I had to let go in my sway was timing! :)
I'm glad I did. You'll learn so many things here and can construct a sway that works for you!
Best Of Luck!

Welcome! I was swaying for girl based on the Shettle's method and got two boys. Will be doing the LE diet this time. Hopefully I get my girl. Good luck to you on your boy sway!

I've been researching, and it seems we already follow a HE diet so that's a plus! I gained 15lbs studying for the bar, and haven't really been able to lose it even though I'm running and doing lots of yoga. I just eat a very rich diet. In the summer I live off of watermelon too, and that's when we plan to start! Next, I just have to research more why it seems I'm not ovulating!
