In a few of my other threads, I talked about baby aspirin and my concerns about how to wean. I ovulated yesterday and have only been taking it for two weeks starting after my chemical pregnancy, which was 17 days ago.

The first week, I took it every other day.

This past week, I took it daily. So I have not been taking it for too long.

Wednesday and Thursday, I felt nauseous (which could be due to ovulation) but today, I have slight stomach pain. Just enough for it to feel off and uncomfortable and it stays this way even if I eat. should I be concerned? Should I also be concerned that it will affect implantation?

I want to start weaning. I would love some advice.

Thank you!

Yes, I am concerned about stomach pain when taking aspirin daily. I would prefer no one ever takes it more than 5 days a week and 3 may be better for many people. I'd like you to take the next two days off, then return to the every other day for the next week, then every two-three days for a week, then every 4 days, then once a week then stop. If at any point you notice black tarry stools or throw up anything that looks like raspberry jelly go to the emergency room IMMEDIATELY.

Well I took it every other day the first week and really only 5 days this week. I was not feeling this way until yesterday and today. I have had normal BM/stools but increased CF but I am sure that is something else. its not really pain just kinda uncomfortable/warm/empty feeling.

I know you are not a doctor but can this affect implantation or other things happening for me to get pregnant? I am definitely going to start weaning. THANK YOU. Trying real hard not to panic!!!

Just called a doctor. They have NO experience with anyone taking baby aspirin!

One last question: could this all possible prevent conception or implantation?

My stomach is staring to feel better but I am going to pay close attention to what my body does.

Just an update: My stomach feels much better. I am not sure if it was from the aspirin or not but it seemed like the only explanation. Now I am going to work on weaning and really hope that I was still able to conceive and that things are happening. I am drinking RRL tea to help strengthen my uterus. I feel like the odds for conception were high because we BD'ed on the morning of ovulation.

It won't have any impact on your ability to conceive....you really didn't take Aspirin for that long anyway....some people just don't tolerate certain drugs well.

Thanks, that's true. I just got a little freaked out :) and started thinking that if I did conceive, it would be harder to implant because I took the aspirin. TTC can make one a little crazy ;)

I hear you! ;)

Actually, a lot of ladies take Aspirin to HELP with implantation. I really think you're okay.

You might've overdone it on the BA a little. I take it twice a week - wednesday and saturday. =)

I was just thinking, would too much BA possible make my PH too low to conceive? I had CM but I also took Zytrec which I noticed did not completely dry me up. I am 3DPO and DTD on O day. I am just wondering what my chances even were to conceive now. I guess I wait!

I dunno about that specifically - but I think Atomic has said you can over do it and make it impossible to conceive.

Its impossible to know without knowing your PH level. I hope you get a BFP!

No. Aspirin is believed to help implantation.

I suspect you gave yourself a bit of mild gastritis from the aspirin but caught it in time. People generally take aspirin for some time and often with alcohol or other harsh drugs before it ever causes problems.

Not to my knowledge.

You can overdo it with sway tactics in general but aspirin is really one of the milder things we do. There were people on IG taking aspirin and cranberry and Sudafed and a buttload of Crystal Light, plus douching and Acijel and getting pg. A few aspirin is really not too big a deal - the concern is not conception, but YOUR health.
