had an elective ultrasound today (13w5d) and its a boy, after all girl guess on the nub :( Here are the pics

Give yourself time. I had major GD with DS3 but once I picked his name, it got a little bit easier. And once he was born, I loved him. I don't know if it ever truly goes away but it does get easier. Best of luck. :bighug:

I personally think that it's too early to be 100% certain.
The earliest you can get a gender determination here is 15 weeks, and even that is rare, most places don't do it till 16.
Your pictures do look boyish, but again, I think it's early.
The potty shot looks boyish because of the protrusion, but I can't actually see a defined scrotum or penis. I have read that potty shots are unreliable before 15 weeks.

I don't know.. From what I know at that point they still look fairly simillar. I don't want to get your hopes up, but try to look at this website and see:

I read a post in baby centre that had some shots of girls mislabeled as boys, and one of the potty shots looked similar to yours, just a bulge, but no defined scrotum or penis, will try and find it.

I would hold out hope until my 18 week scan possible 15 week. I think 13 weeks is still too early to be 90% sure.

your scans look like mine that I had done at and elective place when I was 13 weeks 6 days and she said boy too this is my last and I have two boys I was really hoping for a girl.. I took my ultrasound pics in to my Ob and she couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl..I have to wait 4 more weeks untill my Anatomy scan..Good luck theres still hope!!!

Wow thanks girls for all the replies my next ultrasound is jan 20th I had an ultrasound at the same place, I even think the same time as well. That one is a boy, off to find the cd of that little one. I am wondering why I can't see balls in any of the pictures?!?

Wow, that's how my 12w4d potty shot looks and everyone is guessing boy too..this gives me hope also that mine's a girl. Hoping we all get what we are hoping for.

I went for an ultraound the other day, I was 15 weeks, my OB said its too early to give an answer (i am also hoping for a girl) so dont lose hope just yet! x

13 week far too early for a definate gender confirmation ,i even think 16 weeks can be too. on the nub i lean girl, but 50/50 on these new shots

13 weeks is kind of on the early side for potty shots...but it does look boyish.
