How do you feel about your sway, successful or not?

I was just reviewing my 'sway' and I realized it was next to nothing, so if I rated 1-5 ( where 5 was excellent), I would give myself 1 and this is only bcos of all the excellent supps I was using.

I thought I was doing HE style with some IG elements, but it was other way round, IG style with some HE elements, therefore my sway shouldn't count in HE statistics.

I'll prepare much better next time, too bad DH is not on board :hair:

I think my so called sway, being so weak, gave only possible result and that's a girl.
Maybe pink swayers would benefit from it

Even though my sway was successful i would rate it a 3. In the first few months i was going at it hardcore, but as i kept getting bfns i kept dropping things. In the end i was taking 2 supps, working out and doing the diet, i was totally prepared to to have another girl, i even titled my sway "it could go either way" because i was actively trying to lose weight. I think the key for me and my sway being successful was the length of time i was on the diet for (10 months), who knows if i had fallen pregnant in the first month or 2 with a hardcore rating 5 sway if it would have worked or not.

Hmmm a 4 maybe? I had found this site too late and didn't do enough to sway girl at all.

my sway wasn't successful but would rate it a 4 - other than some T lowering supps I did have a very pink lifestyle, couldn't do the rest because of BF so I have no regrets

I would give my sway a four even tho I hardly did anything besides diet, because I think that if I HAD tried to include a lot of sway tactics, my T levels would have gone thru the roof and I wouldn't have gotten pg anyway. So in terms of, doing what I felt would work for me, I think I hit it just right and feel pretty good about it overall (tho I totally wish that I had been taking folic acid when I got pg, I could just KICK myself for that.)

You guys are being too hard on yourselves - you can only do what you can do and it's ok to drop sway tactics in order to get pg - if you can't get pg, you have 0% chance of your DG, so you actually increase your odds of getting your dream baby if you drop some stuff in that scenario!!

I would rate mine a 4, I did everything I was comfortable with regardless of what the gender turned out to be. If I were to change anything I think I would of made DH do more and I probably would of did my weight training an extra day

I give mine a 3 - my diet went to pot the month i conceived and i took no supps apart from aspirin and acidolphius. My stress levels were also very high - t wise. The only thing in my favour i hope was clomid. will find out next August

Hmm. I think I would give myself a 4 for this sway attempt. My first sway a few years ago was a 5 though ;). Not that it was perfect at all, but for me that worked in my favor...
For that sway, I did so much while keeping T low back then.

This time I wasn't as strict the entire sway, not at all, it also wasn't perfect by any means. But I think I would still give myself a 4 because just like AS, if I would have done a really strict sway then my T levels would have been through the roof. I am detail oriented so if I had swayed for 6 or more weeks it wouldn't have been good for me. I did actually sway for a while, a gentle sway, without thinking about it. It was more for health, well being, and relaxation just because I wanted to and it felt good. Not a fan of red meat and or even chicken...even more so since I had my DD. (although I am introducing those foods more regularly into my diet
Now). 1-2 weeks before I buckled down. I couldn't really replicate this sway either. If I tried, it would be hard but not totally impossible I guess. Either way, Everything ended up falling into place. :)

Oh just to add - I took one night about 2 weeks before my sway and read almost every sticky on this site! The complete index was such a huge help. I learned a lot and made a plan for myself. Asked some questions and decided not to wait another month or two or three since I felt my lifestyle and diet was already more girl
Friendly. Plus, I wanted a gentle sway so as not to raise T levels. And another part was that I just wanted to try for another little baby. Haha. I felt the time
Was right. But anyhoo, AS, members, and all the info here (that AS has researched and given to us) helped tremendously. And thus, I give myself a 4. ;)

I'd say mine is a 2...if I get pregnant at all. I've dropped things because I haven't gotten pregnant yet, but have not been eating breakfast, not snacking too much, lowered protein, etc. I am not doing supps except folic acid, but for me I think the key is that I have changed my diet. It's not drastic, but hopefully enough.

Of course on the flip side, if I had to rate myself on doing a boy sway, I'd be negative. LOL

I would say at least a 4, if not approaching a 5. I will very strict on the diet, regarding no-meat, eating only twice a day, eating no breakfast. I was on the LE diet for nearly five months before conceiving (and largely vegetarian for about three months before that). I lost about 12 pounds, going from 107 lbs. down to 95.5 lbs. No exercise, the recommended supps (baby aspirin, saw palmetto), DTD methods that aren't as conception-friendly (saliva as lube, woman on top), and DH was great about FR (10 times in the week prior to our attempt). Also, I had been on vitex for six months and the month of conception was my first month off (I think it was preventing pg) -- Atomic successfully conceived her DD with this same Vitex pattern. The only thing I was concerned about was how many times we DTD ... I think it was six or seven attempts in the week leading up to ovulation. My O time could vary and earlier cycles with one or few attempts hadn't succeeded in conception. So that was my one concern at the time; were there too many sperm on the scene?

Also, I was doing lots of prayer and scripture studying, to bolster my belief that I would either get the daughter I desired or that God would put a new dream in my heart, if we were destined for a third son.

Great point!!! A lot of us were doing unintentional boy sways when we got our little dudes so just by doing away with that, we do a lot to sway.

mhmmmm 3.5 maybe? 3.95? :)
- I only did the diet for 5-6 weeks (2 weeks pretty lacks - no meat what so ever though, skipped breakfast most days) and the rest super strong (no meat, no snacking, no breakfast ever, 1200cals).
- I didn't do any supps except folic acid. But even if we don't get pregnant this cycle I won't be using any either. I want to go as natural as possible.
- DH did the diet with me, super well - He actually lost 6lbs! He took licorice root for about a week then stopped due to potential issues with other medication he's on for colitis.
- I used rephresh and antihistamines which definitely helped thinking back on other cycles.
- pH was 4 or under at attempt and the following morning was back at 4-5
- We only did a 6 day abstain and one attempt (which I'm worried was maybe 2-3 days before O, so not sure if I'll even get preggo) I would have liked the abstain to be one day longer.. but what can ya do!
- Although the diet was shorter than most people do, I lost 6lbs. I went from a BMI of 16.8 to 16.0 - I'm not proud of this as it's getting dangerously low. I started to bump up cals a bit in the 2ww because I definitely don't want to risk my health or lose O. This is the lowest I've ever been, lost a lot of muscle that I used to have from exercising which I've stopped.

Anyways, I guess I'm going to finish it off and say I'll give myself a good 4. It's really the best sway I'll ever have because at this point I cannot lose anymore so I only can gain - which is boy territory and I know the longer I'm swaying the more things I'll start to drop. Here's hoping for a BFP!

I would give mine a "lucky 3." My "intentional" aspects of the sway were rather weak. I also had to be concerned with T-levels. So weak was better than none for me. The diet was not long or that great. Our timing was all off (in regards to FR/abstain).

BUT, I had strong aspects that were "less intentional" that probably tipped the balance into a solid sway (as I think a three in a scale of five is a strong sway). I was breastfeeding, waking all hours of the night, had very low blood sugar (always do when nursing), was getting sick, and taking aspirin for a blood clotting condition. So those things probably helped boost my sway from a weak-2 to a decent 3.

It worked, so I guess something tipped the balance just enough, even if it was pure luck.
