afy i know the feeling, but it does get easier, as you fuel your body more regularly your metabolism speeds up, so instead of having to force food down at ??o'clock you will get hungry naturally then, hang in there :)

afy
December 16th, 2012, 11:50 PM
Its absolutely true.. My metabolism has sped up SOO much its unbelievable.. I LOVE eating dont get me wrong its just my timing and keeping up with snacking but I makesure I have sufficient snacks when im outside I have a Larabar at hand, my V8 juice, My almonds.. but sometimes i just think wait.. Your going through so much effort and it might not be what a desire but then i think hey nothing to lose so onward I go..

Hi all,

I am quite new to the forum and just trying to read posts and gather information as much as possible for my blue sway. However, I am 6 days past ovulation and this month we just had sex around ovulation time so not sure if i will get pregnant this month. If I get preggo this month then may be i don't need any sway preparation. But i have two questions at this point and would appreciate any answers.

1) Does cold sway? Because this month we both had cold and little sick when we had sex.

2) We were on vacation n just got high n had sex twice within 12 hrs of each other. One in the night and one early morning. Now, I am worried seeing the posts that frequent sex lowers sperm and sways girl.

I understand that there are lot of other factors for a sway however, speaking specifically about attempt/sex....Did anyone have boy with sex within 12 hrs. of each other? Please give me honest answers or may be a link to someone's attempt. Thanks in advance n good luck to everyone.

I think a little sick doesn't really sway, maybe slightly pink. As for BD, I DTD 3 times in 24 hours for my boy sway. Good luck!

Thanks a lot Anchor for your reply. It took me some time to figure out BD and DTD :) So, I see that DTD 3 times in 24 hrs is part of your plan...did you decide based on someone's successful sway? Is there any study backing this? I feel like i will get pregnant this month as I am already having some symptoms. I wish we had waitd and researched some more:worry:

I swayed in 2009 for a boy...and was successful. We were doing a lot of BDing when we conceived him. What cycle day are you on? Do you know when you O'd?

I'm on CD3 and normally O on CD 17/28.
I've started Soy today so CD3-7. This may well adjust my O day but shall be using OPKs to keep an eye on that.
I feel like I've got the diet side of things sorted but its the BDing do's / dont's I'm not certain of if swaying blue..

Here are a couple of really useful essays on frequency:

http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-discussion-ttc-boy-girl-home-swaying-info/10156-jellybean-factory-%96-understanding-sperm-count-frequency.html

I did the soy iso this cycle as well, I'm on CD14, and I o'd yesterday.

serah
December 17th, 2012, 05:34 PM
Oh wow thats really exciting that you started the soy too
have u used it before ?
What quantities did you decide one ?
I've gone for
CD3 - 50mg (just to see how I respond)
CD4 - 100mg
CD5 - 150mg
CD6 - 200
CD7 - 200

The Anchor
December 17th, 2012, 05:40 PM
I took 180mg on CD 3-6, then 240mg on CD 7. This is my second month trying to conceive, I'd never tried it before then. My quantities were a little higher this cycle than last cycle. Only because I didn't have a negative response to it. I am actually doing what I've been calling a "healthy egg" sway, which ends up looking like a boy sway. I'm getting up there in years, and I want one more baby :)

Hi serah, welcome :) Wheat grass can be made fresh or you can take it in tablet form (thats probably easiest) and yes it is recommended while swaying blue, because of its high nutrient value.

That sounds more like a blue bd schedule...the frequency of bd isn't as important as the other factors, like diet.

The recommendation is every 2-3 days from start of your cycle (or when AF finishes) then when you get a +opk go for it 3 times in 24 hours. The reason is to get maximum amounts of sperm during the fertile window, as more sperm = more boys.

This is good for getting more ewcm which is great for blue, you can definatly take it if you want, or you can use pre seed also great for blue.

Hi everyone.
Only been away a night and what a flurry of activity...
Welcome to sera, spring and sugar.
Afy, I'm taking wheatgrass sups I got from the health food shop as I can't stomach anymore vileness in my v8 boy swill concoction. They are 500mg per capsule and it says to take 4 a day which I do.
On top of what you are planning to take and Cinss' additions I am taking Royal Jelly, Maca powder and also Bulgarian Tribulus from CD5 - O. The Tribulus is not recommended by Atomic however so make sure you look into that your self before making any decisions. I have a naturopath at my health food shop and after talking with her felt fine taking it. Good luck Anchor! If I get a BFP this month I'll have baby before my 40th...if I conceive next month or after it will be either on or after my 40th.
Just got back from visiting my mum and had a super full bladder held for 3 hours in the car!!! Decided to test but it was negative...will test again in the morning but CD11 is usually earliest for me (tomorrow). BB's are slightly tender which is not normal but have had once or twice before when not PG so who knows???
Am ok if I don't get a BFP this month..I want a little boy so much am happy to wait another cycle and more diet time can only help.
Cinss and Dloui, did you guys drink any alcohol when you were swaying? I have had a glass of red on fri and sat since starting my sway (vastly reduced form normal - usually 2 or 3 glasses of white wine 4 nights a week). I am about to go on holidays and was wondering if a glass of red here and there is good for boy or not?

Hello Ladies!! Well I think I am gonna start posting again now leading up to my 1st attempt, Round 2 of TTC our little man. I have decided to shoot for June now rather than July which means I have just 6 months to get ready now. I have made some great changes since I stopped TTC in June this year, I haven't had a single diet coke (or any form of soft drink) since July 1st which is massive for me as I have been drinking it daily since I was 18. I have lost heaps of weight and really sorted out my diet and cut out as much crap as I can, I am eating protein at every meal which I wasn't before have started drinking V8. Over the next 6 months I am working on exercise and weight training.

Just trying to decide if I should buy my plan now and start being really strict on the diet, sups etc.. for 6 months prior to my attempt as a lot of successful sways come from people being on the diet longer term (usually due to TTC taking so long). Part of me can't wait to start again and the other part of me is dreading it after 6 month of BFN's that I got at the start of this year. I am just praying that I didn't get pregnant then because I was meant to get pregnant next year with our long awaited son!

It is great to be back!!

Cinss
December 17th, 2012, 11:30 PM
luv alcohol is not forbid on the boy diet, and red wine is your best choice due to the nutrients that you get in there. Personally i was only drinking 1 night per week (cut down also from every night) and my drink of choice was vodka lime and soda.

Cinss
December 17th, 2012, 11:34 PM
YAY welcome back POP!!! I think you will have an awesome sway by June, surely it couldn't take you long to get a BFP next time, being healthier is only going to help you with that. Maybe shoot Atomic a PM and ask her when you should get the plan happening.

Welcome princess of pink! Trust me the 6months will fly I have planned to do 6months of the HE diet but I have prepared myself deep inside it may not guarantee me anything but aslong as its a healthy bubba I'm just glad I can eat better and healthier deff will carry this on after pregnancy too minus these concoctions and supps ill be glad to get rid of! I'm hoping to TTC April/may ..

Luvalitteman I can't wait to hear your results and don't stress about the BFN more time on your diet.. What is royal jelly like ?? And maca? I' feel like I'm taking so much already my DH (who doesn't know I'm swaying lol) is already suspicious and thinks I've lost it with the supps haha.. ! He's gonna start taking men 1 ADay but I'm not sure what he will say about it being 50+ lol. Apart from that he doesn't smoke or drink and has fairly boy friendly diet but Im not concerned so much about his as much as mine!

And by the way I FINALLY mixed in some beef gelatin to my V8 and it didn't taste any diff!! I was slightly surprised as the girls have said how its like living death Lol I don't know if I added in enough it said "1 level tablespoon" or do we add more??

Afy- maybe the tomato taste helps? I hate v8, so I just put it in a smudge of juice.

I'm fully aware that is sounds like I hate all beverages! RIP diet coke- I guess I'm bitter! ;)

Sooooooo.... What's the earliest you can bust out the hpt?? I bought 3 today that I will try to hoard as long as possible.

Pom I had the weirdest belly after I had that protein crap eurgh.. But I have conditioned myself to like v8 especially since we need to be buddies for a while lol I do a V8 everyday and now hve to add that gelatine lol I soooo see this gonna be the opposite of what Im trying for lol ahh don't worry we all have that lil obsession with prego testing I did too with DD I tested 5 times even though I had received a "pregnant" with clearblue lol.

Princess of pink I think mainly because I wanted to try round about the time when my DD turns 2 which is may. And because Im planning on going away in summer back to the UK and want to be free of all these concoctions and extra supps and just enjoy myself without having to worry about certain things . however if I don't get a BFP then I will have to continue till September and TTC then.. Which I hope I don't need to though I wouldn't mind more time on the diet! Oh yes and another reason I wanted a winter baby lol I had DD almost falling into summer well actually in spring !

Luvalitteman don't be silly it doesn't always guarantee the desire gender your sway is is just as mine if not more better there's no real telling .. Of course everything works diff for us all.. How long till you test???

I already starting to worry as I am not taking as much as you all seem to be. I can't stomach even a sip of the V8, yeast or gelatin. I am hoping my nut intake and weight training will tip the balance.

So much for declining fertility after 35... my 39 year old egg has been fertilized first go. Hubby slightly disappointed as he loved all the multiple attempts.

I started the diet in Jan. I have added and taken away sups since then I ttc then but took a break for a couple of months, I started back with diet and ttc hard core 3 months ago now I am at the point that I really want to be pregnant by Feb so I only have 2 more months, I am still in my 2ww this time but I am just trying to prepare.

Well best of luck for a bfp soon. If i was you i would just make a decision of what supps to keep then stick to that, maybe starting and stopping them may confuse your body and i was guilty of that at the beginning of my sway too. Sometimes it has nothing to do with what we are doing and it can just take a while to get pregnant. It was 10 months for me.

Hi, I am new here and would like to join the thread. (I have been lurking forever). I have two girls and am swaying for a boy. Started diet and sups in Nov ready for my first attempt end of Jan. I already starting to worry as I am not taking as much as you all seem to be. I can't stomach even a sip of the V8, yeast or gelatin. I am hoping my nut intake and weight training will tip the balance.

Welcome, in the end i wasnt drinking v8 it got too expensive for me along with everything else. So for the 3 months before my bfp i only drank water and some alcohol on friday nights. I ate lots of nuts and did lots of weights the only supps i kept were fish oil and pre natal. You dont have to do all the things just enough to be able to say its quite diffetent to how i used to be.

Hey thanks guys!! I am trying not to get too excited until I get to 12 weeks. I have too many friends who have had late MC and my age puts me at higher risk so am half excited and half cautious.
I don't want anyone to know until I am thru the first trimester (except for swaying buddies of course).
My test was so pale this morning DH told me I was seeing things but I could see the shadow and my BB's are sore and am sore and crampy above pubic bone. Also felt slightly nauseous a few times today and got up at 2am for a bowl of cereal (WTF?).
So still waiting on Blueplease, then Pom is next, then Anchor (good shagging by the way Anchor).
Where has Becca gone? And Blue?
We have lost some swayers lately.

The texture is awful, but the smell is what kills me!!! My tiny diva ALWAYS says " is that the yucky medicine mommy?" Poor thing, she hasn't mentioned "her baby" in months, but the last few weeks everything is " can we get that for my baby?" "What does my baby want for Christmas?" And the worst "is my baby coming back from heaven to be with me?"

I'm praying this is our rainbow. My heart breaks for her.

Your rainbow baby will come Pom.
Also, love that you have 4 rescue dogs. I have 1 that was a death row puppy and will turn 11 on her next birthday. She sits in the front seat everywhere I go (which looks strange as she's a big german shepherd cross) with the kids in the back. Ha ha.

Well I joined the gym yesterday afternoon and I'm going to start incorporating 30mins+ of weight training and some cardio per day into my life! Am actually a bit excited! Going to mean going at 4.30-5am but I am awake then anyway so may as well be productive and get fit and help my sway. I actually think starting so early for me is a good idea as my body will have 6 whole months to get used to the diet, exercise, weight training and supps before I start TTC. Last time I was TTC during the changes and I think thats when you get scared and start dropping things weakening your sway.

Changing my life this much has got to do something surely!!

I had a +digital opk on cd 12- we bd that afternoon and cd13. We didn't do a third attempt because of fixing the pipe that broke in our kitchen. Originally FF put o on cd12.

Today it has moved it to cd14- and we are left with bd cd12,13,15.

What do you guys think?

Mine did the same Pom. My temp dipped on CD14 and O pains were CD15 so we did attempt on CD14 and CD15.
Was feeling happy with my timing and then FF moved my O to CD18 and I thought I'd stuffed it up. I got my faint BFP on CD24 which would have meant I had a faint BFP at 6DPO which is not possible.
FF can be wrong if it finds a pattern it prefers it seems.
Nevertheless, even if it was CD14 you have 3 good attempts in there!

I had crazy crazy pregnancy symptoms - sooo much nausea. I'm keeping up the B6 and LO is barely nursing at all anymore so I'm hoping that will help next cycle.

CONGRATS LUV!!!!!! That is awesome news! I know you were hoping for it this month bc of how next month coincided with your girls bdays.

Omg had such a bad experience with the gelatine and v8 I think I didn't mix it in the juice enough, as I was necking it down huge lumps were appearing I nearly almost puked! Sorry TMI !!

Can I join you guys? I feel I do not belong here tbh I have been busy and despite a great start failed miserably with my diet.
I am on the higher side of a healthy bmi and have been salting everything and "trying" to eat what I should for a boy sway but certainly not eating enough. My sway is set for next month so hoping Christmas period will up food intake. Taking multi vits, fish oil, folic acid and vit d. Was taking more supps but they were throwing my cycles off totally. Cutting supps has brought me back to regular cycles.
I wonder are we fooling ourselves to attempt next month without having enough swaying foundations laid down.

Only I wouldn't think of something like that!! I will deff try them thank you both..

Yep I deff think fish oil and my intake of water made my abundant EWCM ..I feel so much more energetic than before and I really believe it's my diet I don't know if this makes sense to anybody but I don't feel so sluggish anymore. Also breakfast i believe Is really important what you eat like now i almosy always have oat cereals ( Quaker granola oats, honey, almonds and raisins is really tatsty!) or oatmeal ( with peanut butter its yummmm) its given me a good Kick start to my day..but you don't HAVE to stick to cereals eggs are great ! I just find it easier to eat this morning time..

Pom that sounds promising! I hope it goes well and deff wait till you test again I know how tempting and addicting it can be pissing on a stick Lol!

Cinns Which successful sways did check out? i seen a few too.. i seen the stats for those who swayed blue there quite high compared to girl swayers arent they? I'm resisting to get my hopes too high and staying as much neutral as possible!!
I still get all broody seeing little baby girls the thought of my DD having little sister still sounds so nice!

Hey guys!!! I have been so sick. I have been basically in bed since the day after Christmas- I actually pulled a muscle from all the coughing. It sucks!

But.... I did have the teeny tiniest faint line on a test!! I'm freaking out a little since I've had a fever, but I'm trying to keep it down with Tylenol. I am so afraid to let myself get excited, in case my sickness causes an issue. :/ I still haven't told the hubbs, but he couldn't understand me anyway- I've lost my voice and make sad squeaking noises.

I haven't taken another test since this- so I'll have to see if it gets any darker.....

Yay! Congrats Adoptapom!!!!! Soooo exciting!!! Sorry you're sick :( Me too still! Mine is just a sinus infection but everyone in the fam just got over a bad cough/cold. I finally broke down and got antibiotics.

I'm still waiting to ovulate! I'm on CD 17 today. :/

Happy new year to all!
