I'm sorry I'm asking so many questions... but my sway is coming anyday now (swaying girl)

My question is.. what is your CM supposed to look like normally, versus ovulation etc. I know there is lots of talk about the EWCM which from my understanding is only suppose to happen if you're ovulating?

I'm on CD9 and I've been taking antihistamines to dry things up - I feel like I normally have a decent amount of stuff happening, so drying things up is high on my list. I've been taking them for 3 days now and feel like I notice a slight difference in amount (a lot less). However, today after going to the bathroom I noticed a definite amount of something. I'm not fully sure if it EWCM or not. It's clearish, more on the stretchy side for sure.. not thick or creamy like people mention. I can't be ovulating already?! Planned on taking my first OPK tonight around 5ish, and just peed so I doubt I can do one right now?

I just need to know what type of stuff is supposed to be coming out and when - gross I know :)

If you google it, there is a lot of detail about different types of cm and how it changes across cycle.

Ewcm signifies you're approaching ovulation. Some people hardly get it, others get it for a couple of days. Others get it for up to a week. It is clear, stretchy (ie without breaking). Other times in the cycle, cm can be white and creamy or watery or non existent.

Ewcm is the most sperm friendly and works well at helping transport sperm along. Cm at other times of the month is quite hostile to sperm.

I've rambled enough - have a google, there's lots of detail and I can't remember the specifics of other types of cm, as I tend to just notice Ewcm (I get 7 days of the stuff, agh for pink!!)

I know I need a good essay about this.

It's ok to have SOME EWCM - you can't get pg without at least a little (even if it's up inside where you can't see)

The patterns of CM are different for every person in every month and can switch back and forth, so you can't really use it as a timeline in any way.

Okay, thanks so much for the info!

My husband saw what I was looking at and almost died!!! I'm not suprised, it's quite disgusting - especially someone else's! Haha. But very helpful and needed, thanks :)
