my DH says he saw what he thinks are boy parts on a potty shot at 12.5 weeks. He describes it as looking like a white triangle? Looking at early potty shots this does seem to indicate boy? Why are potty shots inaccurate before 15 weeks? Because looking across the net a boy always seems to stay a boy and girls have nothing between the legs?? This obsession is starting to drive me nuts lol I find out for sure on the 27th. Thanks for any input in advance ;-)

Its because some girls can have swollen clitoris, it is all very small under 15 weeks i know everything looks big on the screen but it is really tiny inside you.

My understanding is that both boys and girls start out looking the same.
In girls the protrusion retracts and becomes the clitoris, in boys it protrudes even further and becomes a penis.
I think confusions can occur before 15w because there may be a swollen protrusion confused for boy bits, swollen labia can be mistaken for a scrotum, and a swollen clitoris can be mistaken for a penis.

Check out the site baby2see.com and you will see that both boys and girls look very similar between 11 and 14 weeks via a potty shot.
