How many of you ladies out there have had this test done? Apparently it is the only fetal genetic screening test the OB I have chosen does. I was hoping someone else out there has had it done and can tell me how long it took for you to get the results back and how reliable the gender results (if any) you got were?? Hoping to hear from at least a couple different people!!

I haven't done it but some ladies on here have and it's been 100% right so far on gd. This test is very accurate when done at the 12 week mark( for 13, 18,21 and gender)I noticed it my doctor's office last month. IMO you can rely on this test to give you accurate results when done at the proper gestation.

They said I could get it done as early as 10 weeks. I was hoping to get the results back so I could still get an NT scan if it comes back questionable. Is it not as reliable at 10 weeks?

If they are telling you 10 weeks then they would know. I have never done it and only really know about t from these boards. It seems like the girls that were doing it were 12 weeks or so. Whatever your doctor is telling you I am sure is more accurate than me:)

It is a blood test where they can analyze baby's free DNA in your blood. It is just like any other blood draw... no big deal. They look for Trisomy 13, 18, and 21. I think they will also tell you the sex of the baby. It sounds like it is a good alternative to CVS and amnio however it is just a screening test. I think they can look for more things with the CVS and amnio.

Did you consider Ramzis method, I know it not guaranteed but worth looking into http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ultrasound-gender-prediction/9949-ramzis-method.html
