Hey mamas,
Looking for some suggestions on what to purchase for a nursing pillow. With DS I got some hand-me-down home made pillow which was useless. What do you recommend so that baby doesn't sink and I don't have to kill my back etc? I have been looking at the JJ Cole one a bit. Thank you!!!

I have a milkbar nursing pillow. It comes in choc, pink and blue and I have both the choc and blue as I love them so much and my DS1 also loves to snuggle it at night (so had to get a second one). I live in Australia though so not sure if they make or sell them in Canada or America? I love it.

I had a whidgey with DS3, don't know if you can only get them in England?? You can change the cover, it was great, it was firm enough to double up as a back support when he first learnt to sit on his own.

I think the JJ cole nursing pillow I have been looking at is actually very similar to this though! It's more firm and claims to be compact as does the milkbar!

It's called MY BREAST FRIEND... It truly is a blessing to have. It makes you have the posture you're supposed to while nursing.

Yeah, I got a Boppy ( just about useless) because that's what everyone here got at the time (3 yrs ago). Fortunately someone at my husbands work (!) got me a My Brest Friend also which I thought was odd-until I used it. So much better, firmer, and with the strap that goes around your back I was even able to nurse and walk to answer the phone (like baby was on a portable table lol). Now I have seen a lot more choice and most of them seem to be similar so maybe there are others just as good.

Yes! After buying the Boppy and it was no better than a flat pillow and my back was killing me! Started going to BFing groups and they had them there to use and I went out and bought one. It helped so much! I was having latch problems ect and this thing saved me and I was able to continue to BF..... I would buy one for all my nursing friends baby shower gifts.

I actually went ahead and bought the Brest Friend today! After reading all the reviews online, hearing good things on here and the price is good, I decided to go for it! Thanks ladies :)
