oh no sorry your son is sick, hope he feels better soon. For future reference though one meal won't undo all the good of the LE diet, just stay veggie if you can and skip pudding etc so its not too bad. Lots of pasta and noodle dishes are quite low in cals, i got quite inventive when on the le diet, we ate out at a weatherspoons pub in birmingham for example and i found a noodle dish for 375 cals, it was so nice and met with the criteria. But if not the odd cheat is fine, better that than upset hubby, if aint happy no baby making anyway!

Thank you Mrs. P! It's hard to know where/how to "cheat" so I get nervous and I am trying to stay calm about the whole thing....but I guess the swaying dust fairy is keeping me home for my own good! I will keep this post for next time. Thanks again!!!!

the mushroom ravioli should be ok, the pesto may not be quite as good because there are ground up nuts in the sauce (still ok for a cheat though)

Oh my so pesto isn't good to have on the diet? oops I had pesto noodles a good couple times but is that what pesto is in it's self is nuts? cuz the pesto on there noodles was creamy and didn't seem to have nut's in it.

It could've been made with ground almonds or other nuts. That would give it a lovely creamy texture :)

a couple of times will not hurt anything, but just so you know, pesto does have ground up nuts in it. it is pine nuts or walnuts, garlic, olive oil, and parmesan cheese with basil or parsley
