I'd buy internet cheapie strips (you can get 30 on eBay or Amazon for less than £6) and then get a more expensive brand to use to confirm an ambiguous results. The cheapie strips are known to be quite hard to read, but they're sensitive enough that you can usually "waste" them or do 2 a day so you don't miss the surge which is reassuring.

Fertility Friend is a great website where you can enter all your data. Temps, OPKs, CM, CP, when you DTD, etc, most of the ladies use it on here and you can even share your chart if you need other opinions. I think doing the OPKs is great because you get to know when O is approaching, and doing temps as well lets you know once its over.
