Hi everyone!

Im so pleased i've found this forum. My Husband and I were blessed with our beautiful daughter 9 months ago, and we are planning to try for a boy this year. My Husband worries that he wont be able to produce a boy as when he had his sperm count checked by our GP, he was told that the count was fine but that they weren't very mobile (so we basically think he doesnt have many fast male sperm swimming around!)

We are going to do as much as we can in order to sway the odds in favour of a boy. All I know at the moment is that its recommended to have sex right before and after ovulation, but Im not sure how reliable that is. Im more interested in diet changes etc...

Looking forward to getting some top tips and sharing ideas!

Yes, my doc highly recommends c0q10/ubiquinol for sperm health. Good luck!

He just takes a Zinc supplement at the moment. What should we be looking out for in the UK?

You can get CoQ10, which is a supplement available in most health food stores. My grocer actually carries it here in Canada. The ubiquinol is the "converted" version of CoQ10, more bioavailable, but more expensive. There's a study on it here somewhere, I'll see if I can find it...
