How many cals are you eating?? Depending on your serving size, that is not much food at all and the guidelines are 1500-1800 cals, 40-50 g protein, 25-60 g fat. I also don't see how you could be getting 2500-3500 mg potassium and 700-1000 mg sodium either.

Chicken is ok as long as you're not getting a lot of protein from other sources (which you aren't) but at the same time it's so low in cals, you quickly go over for protein and then have no protein left for the rest of the day.

Thanks atomic! i am not sure how many calories a day i am eating,not sure how to figure that out. Sad to say but i am so scared to eat LOL. I just over did it with all my boys. Here's is what i had yesterday

Snack: orange
Dinner: 2 small shrimp with strip-fry vegs& pasta, salad.
Dessert: 1 slice pumpkin bread{WHY did my Husband grandma make this for my kids and i had to taste it LOL}
also i had rasinets{i know i was wrong for eating that}
Drinks: green tea{not sure if this is ok but it was the diet kind, it has aspartame in it}, crystal light,water, peppermint tea.

But there's a lot of room between starving and overdoing it. I think you should try to eat a bit more - I think including the pumpkin bread and Raisinets were great because it was a bit of cals for you. Those two things turned your day around, really. I'd like to see you eating a bit more potassium and some fat - have you been having dressing on the salad? If not, do.

Your dog so cute <3

You know, it kills me when women feel "bad" about what they eat. I'm not sure how long you are planning on dieting but to me it seems its gonna be really hard if you are reprimanding yourself all the time or feeling guilty. personally, I am not doing a diet because I CANNOT hear boy#6, and then blame myself. (based on what I ate, like a hamburger or something). I can't sacrifice my mental health for a daughter (not that anyone else does this, but I know MYSELF lol)

So I think its possible, especially if a "diet" is hard on you for one reason or another, to make changes that will keep you relaxed and a happy camper. Like..skip breakfast and eat like you normally do but cut portions in half and don't snack, or just omit the meat part of the meal at dinner (just have the starch and veg...healthfully) rather than embarking on a restrictive diet thats too hard to stick to...for example, you seem to enjoy strawberries so thats a good choice, like include things you really enjoy eating. Or a nice platter of cut up veggies, or one of my fave's...brie cheese melted on a crusty bread..heaven!! Also anecdotally have heard of Perrier water being very girl friendly, and it kills the appetite (a little too well).

I think my point is...Girl...you gotta eat something yummy! Swaying for a girl doesn't mean suffering, we can get them eating in a way that we lose weight, and stay HAPPY!
