View Full Version : Confused about stress...pink or blue?

I keep seeing people say to be careful about stress if you're doing a pink sway (like me), because it raises testosterone and that clearly sways blue... but then saw another post somewhere along the line linking to a study in northern Europe concerning high stress moms and disproportionately higher numbers of girls born to them...

So...does stress sway pink or blue? Or is the difference related to long term chtonic stress vs short term freak out stress?
Thanks!

That's good to know! I'm the least competitive person I know (I will purposely let other people win!), but the most stressed out on a day to day basis. Stressful job, and main breadwinner....

stress hormones do decrease fertility... so that's a good sign :)

I am constantly anxious and angry / stressed at the kids what would that sway? I hate being late or early for that matter and I am a massive control freak!
Thanks sorry to hijack but I a bet most ladies if not all can relate after having a few kids!

Rainbow Baby that type of stress sways blue...

there are many studies that show it doesn't, and that women with stressful lives or stressful careers have more girls.

In the week leading to this conception I had a big amount of stress. Acute stress, competitive stress. I'm a control freak! Between the stressy moment I did my best to de-stress as much as possible. Had long hot showers with some beauty stuff I bought, had foot baths, went to the hair dresser, reading, watching simple television like TLC etc.
I'm expecting a girl!

this is just one thing out of dozens that may sway...try not to worry about it.
