Is 38 too old to try for a boy?

I have two daughters, ages 10 and 13. We have recently realized we want another child. I will be happy with either gender. I certainly know how to raise a girl, but it would be nice to ttc a boy this time around. I will meet with my doc next week to see if I am healthy enough to try to conceive and have my Mirena removed. So is 38 too old to have a baby? :nails:

I will be 38 in a couple of months so I am sure hoping that 38 isn't too old to have a baby. BTW, got preggers on a one time oops also so it might be easier than you think :wink:

I will be 38 in March and i just got pg with the 3rd one after one attempt, which was the easiest conception sofar. Sometimes I wonder wheater I get more fertile more children I have :-) mind you it's still early days. I have the first scan this Friday and we will see if it is a viable pregnancy at all.

No definitely not! Especially when you have had 2 previous healthy children! My top tips for a boy pregnancy is for you to drink soy milk (raises T) swim in chlorinated pools, eat lots of bread and carbs and be super stressed! Worked for me! xx
