Hi ladies, as the title says, I am allergic to cow's milk ( not an anaphylactic reaction just really bad tummy problems and sickness). I know that a lot of pink sway ladies eat cream cheese but this is a no no for me (I even tried the lactofree stuff but within hours I had unbearable cramps etc). I do, however, seem to be able to eat a small amount of goats cheese (although I also have IBS so sometimes that kicks off too). :(
So my question is if any of the dairy free alternatives are ok? I had a coconut based milk ony breakfast cereal and I've already stopped breakfast (I don't drink tea or coffee just peppermint tea for years). But I am partial to an alpro soy yoghurt now and again (but these contain sugar and salt). Also would some goat's cheese be ok occasionally? I just think hummus and cucumber wraps only for lunch will get v boring after 6 weeks ;)
I'm also sure I saw an article (maybe in the UK Mail or telegraph) saying some Dutch scientists were looking into gender swaying pink and they advised goat cheese... I'll try to find it again and post in the replies.
Thanks for reading and hope you have some good advice for me! :D x x

Hi Kittybear!

I am milk allergic too-- I get lovely hives and asthma from it...though after not having it for so long, it makes my stomach icky now too if I get some accidentally. I usually use coconut, rice, or almond milk. I think for a girl sway, the rice milk is probably best because it doesn't have the vitamins of the coconut or the protein of the almond. Just be careful to get one that isn't enriched with vitamin d! (Took me 5 minutes if staring at containers to find one, lol!)

Good luck!!
