View Full Version : Day 3 on the diet and i feel so guilty

So today is day 3 of my diet. I was doing so good until dessert time i ate 1 thin slice of cake {thanks to my DH who asked me to bake him a cake}. I feel so guilty is this normal?
Here is what all i ate today.
Breakfast:skip
Lunch: 1 egg& 2 slices white bread
Snack:Strawberries
Dinner: Salad,Strawberries, Broccoli,small piece of grilled fish.
Dessert 1 slice cake :(
Drinks: 1 cup coffee, 4 bottles of water with crystal light, 1 cup peppermint tea, 2 cans {no caffeine} Diet Coke, 1 cup milk, 1 cup green tea{diet kind}

Also does this sound good what i ate today?
I also walk for 30 min today.

As long as it fits into the calorie/protein/fat range, it should be fine, don't feel guilty! Sometimes I purposely eat lower calorie meals so that I can eat more sweets so this diet feels easier than it is. Hope it was good!!!!!

I have to admire your effort! Were you hungry or did it go ok?

Do you have menus planned for more variety or it is easier for you to stick to consistency? I looked at a few meal suggestions in the LE diet and they sound quite delicious!!

Thanks harleyquinn! This is a BIG change to my body! I am a BIG eater, usually 2nds at dinner time, no wonder why i have 6 boys! I am eating more veggies&fruit then ever! I have times when i am hungry so i drink something. Like the other night i was so hungry i got something to drink and i went to sleep. I was so proud of myself i made it through the night without snacking :)
i am soon gonna get the custom plan done :)

Snack: MORE Strawberries with equal i brought 6 bags of it so they have to go right LOL
Dinner: i am thinking about treating myself to a 6 inch Subway Turkey Sub{2 thin slices of turkey}. I am not sure if i can have it or not :nails: so i may have to change my dinner plans to maybe a salad.

Drinks: 1 cup coffee, 4-5 bottles of water with crystal light, 2 cups peppermint tea, 2 cans {no caffeine} Diet Coke, 1 cup milk, 1 cup green tea{diet kind}

Also 30 min of walking.

No, the cake is fine!!! You NEED more food anyway. It's 100% totally ok, please don't worry about it.

You've hardly had anything else so the turkey sub is fine.
