Positive OPK - what next?

Hi,

I am so excited. First of all I had a Peak on my CBFM this morning, 1st time ever. And now at 12 noon I have done an OPK and the test line is darker than the control line, again 1st time. Woohoo!

We are not attempting this month, I just want to get to know my body a bit better.

I assume I will know for sure tomorrow or the day after what day I have ovulated. But is there any point in doing another OPK later?

some people get more than one day of pos OPK so you *could* carry on testing, but if it will stress you I wouldn't

I don't think testing again would stress me too much as we are not attempting this month anyway.

What time/s should I test again?

You will get another peak on your monitor tomorrow :) chances are ovulation will happen tomorrow too :)
With the OPK the LH surge can be quite fast, you may get another positive tonight but it could be back to negative by tomorrow.

most people test twice a day using OPKs - mornings and early evening

You don't have to use any more sticks after you get your first peak. You will get another peak reading tomorrow, and a high the day after that. Then it will go back to a low reading. You can save a lot of sticks this way. You will probably o tomorrow.
