So DH and I want to TTC a girl in May. That's about 16 weeks. I want to know when to start the diet. I started Vitex and i just ordered pH strips and Lavender EVERYTHING. I have aci-jel left over from 2 years ago while TTCing my daughter. I won't do Cal-Mag this time but should I do cranberry sup? I am still breast feeding my daughter. Does that sway? I also just had a miscarriage and I know that sways the first month but we are not ready to try yet. Will it still affect anything in may?! Any help is appreciated!

Hi, from what I've read , I think you need 90 days for the egg to mature so 90 days of diet before Dtd. Some also recommend 6 week. So depends on how strict you want o be .

I must have missed the lavender bit - what's that about?

I'd suggest being on a diet as long as you possibly can. I'm not so sure cranberry supps are safe for breastfeeding...

They think breastfeeding slightly sways pink. I think by May you should be in good shape. Good luck with your sway! :)

http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-conceive-girl/24628-le-diet-faq.html It kind of depends on how much weight you have to spare.

I prefer aspirin to cranberry for safety issues and you can read that here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-girl-best-practices/7086-how-lower-ph-via-supps-cran-baby-aspirin-aspartame-other-techniques.html

We don't know how much and how long the miscarriage sways. I do think breastfeeding sways pink to some extent, but not that reliably (I think a lot of us get such a powerful appetite when BF that we eat a lot of nutrients.)

It's from Ingender - ions. I don't believe in ions for swaying, bu if you like lavender, it can't hurt.

Oh good catch - yes, neither aspirin nor cran are safe for BF. Some people use them but it's not my preference.
