Can anyone tell me if this would sway pink or blue? It seems like most of the people I know who have used this to TTC have had girls.

The Plan

Short Version:

"Try" every other night starting Day 8
Buy 10 ovulation predictor kit sticks
Begin ovulation testing on Day 10
When test is positive, "try" that night, plus two additional nights in a row
Skip one night, then do one last "try"
Take a home pregnancy test 15 days after your ovulation test was positive, if your period has not begun
If your ovulation test never goes positive, continue "trying" every other night until Day 35, then do a pregnancy test if your period has not begun.
Statistics coming in from women who write me show that about 40% of post-miscarriage women will get pregnant on the first try if they are faithful to the plan, about double the number of the normal population who are not on the plan. This assumes, of course, that you waited for a normal cycle to begin after your loss, and did not begin trying before having a period after a miscarriage. Many women do not ovulate in that first cycle

I think it could sway pink or blue depending on your husband's sperm count and the quality/amount of cervical mucus you produce.

It will help you conceive though and for that reason alone I think it is a good plan. If you hit it hard with diet and do this plan, you will get pregnant more quickly and can limit your amount of time on the diet.

Sagebrush, I conceived DS with BD the night before I ovulated after a LONG abstinence. With that in consideration do you think I should still follow deanna's plan?

Are you 1000% sure he was abstaining...if he was "helping himself" during that long abstinence, he still was raising his sperm count.

Some guys with super-high sperm count, I think both abstinence and frequent BD just encourages the swimmers LOL!!

If he really was abstaining that whole time, then this time I would try frequent release, have him release once a day (or even twice) for 7-10 days. I would NOT follow Deanna's plan unless I had been having trouble conceiving, which it doesn't sound like you are.

So then frequent release with what sort of cut off? I am not confident to do 0+12, and I am unsure that I will have the patience to last doing a 3 day cut off for very long, lol.

It was 6 weeks without any BD, I am sure he "helped himself" a little, but not much. He isn't big on that.

Depending on how serious you are about getting pg, I would go for a 2 or 3 day cutoff.

Thanks Atomic. I think I am going to do Frequent BD with a 2 day cut off for 2 months. If that does not work I am going to follow the Deanna's plan. I can't stay on the diet that long, I know myself, and I really need to get pregnant by October.
