From Australia & interested in PGD - where do I start?

Hi there

I am from Australia & have just started researching GS via PGD in the last few weeks. I stumbled across these forums tonight & am so glad I did! Looks to be such a supportive site.

I am the mother of 2 beautiful boys & would love nothing more than to finalise our family with a little girl. I have made initial contact with Superior ART in Bangkok, who have advised me that I need to approach a fertility specialist in Sydney to commence the PGD process. However, upon further review of these forums & other sites, the feedback appears to be quite negative re: Superior ART???

I would love to hear from others who are considering, or have undergone PGD for GS in either Bangkok or in the US. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :ttcgirl:

There are a lot of gals in the Member forum that have been to SART with mixed results. They have very strict criteria for which embryos they will biopsy. There are Cycle Diaries that contain past cycles for each member that you can read through to see how a cycle progresses. Also, help with setting everything up is located there. One of our Moderators cycled there several times and is now pregnant.

SART has undergone a lot of changes in the last year and now is in a position to offer full chromosome testing which will help increase pregnancy rates. I suggest becoming a member and acceessing the private forums as most people will post in there. Good luck, keep us updated!
