I'm hoping to start TTC in August or September and will be swaying boy. I have been reading through all of the information, but am a bit confused on one point. I am overweight and could stand to lose about 30 pounds.
Would it be better for me to lose the weight and then start the boy diet or to maintain where I am now and still try to sway boy? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

if you are not swaying until then it is best to lose weight now and then do diet later
if you want to sway sooner more like 1-4 month then best to hold steady

You can lose weight following a high protein low carb diet, and still eat fruits and veggies, drink lots of water and exercise. Do not starve yourself to lose the weight.

Thank you. That was my plan, to lose the weight first, but to do it healthily. I am no good at starving myself even if I wanted to.

So after talking to DH today, he is thinking more like May or June, so only 4-5 months away. I really want the best shot at doing this right, since it is our last baby and we have two girls already.
If I were to start exercising (thinking 30 day shred) to build muscle and then start the boy diet and supplements two months beforehand, would I be hurting my chances? I'm willing to do whatever it takes.
