Forgive me if this is a really dumb question, but I've noticed that Rephresh makes a tampon that supposedly lowers ph, and was wondering if that might be a good alternative to using a lime tampon? I don't really like the idea of making my own strange tampon concoction, so if this would work instead that would be amazing.

Why not just use Rephresh as it comes the applicator? It lasts 3 days. I've never seen their tampon.

Lime on a tampon is a really bad idea imo. I will freely say I have done this. (about 2 years ago ::shudder::) I will freely say, it abraded my vagina (burned) which can leave it susceptible to infection and just not fun times.

I am intrigued by the rephresh tampon though...what is it for? For during your period?

most of us don't go in for the lime tampon so much.

The Rephresh tampon is dangerous to put in when you're not on AF due to risks of toxic shock syndrome. You can use it during AF but not so sure it will get ya anything.

Ouch. Definitely turned off to the whole idea now.
