With my DD I got a BFP the night of 7DPO and then it was more noticeable the next morning at 8DPO:)

Following with interest...;) My earliest was 8-9 DPO..hard to nail that day down for me.

I'm only 6-7 but I swear I am feeling the familiar signs, the most noticeable which are gastrointestinal LOL

I also got a BFP in the afternoon of 7DPO when I got pregnant with my son. I was almost positive it would be too early to tell, but I had finished a big exam and wanted to "celebrate" big that weekend. I had a feeling that our attempts had worked, so I wanted to check just in case. Lo and behold, BFP. It was faint, but there.

7dpo was the kind that only an obsessed POAS addict would see, was visible by DH the next morning at 8dpo.

I got one at 8dpo with DS2 (although according to dating scan it was 6dpo!)

Did anyone's BFP show up later then that? as to where you tested on 7dpo and 8 dpo and it said negative and then a day or two later it was positive? Just another curiosity. But thx ladies way cool.

yes, with DS1 I got a negative at 11dpo but then a positive at 13dpo

I've never got a positive with either of mine until the day of my missed period (14DPO) I would never dare test earlier than 11DPO because I just don't think it shows that early for me!

Don't know what you mean tbh, but mine was definitely negative on 6dpo and then faint on 7dpo.

With DS1 I was late and then realised - he was an accident! With DS2 it was on 15dpo that I got a positive and it had been negative on 13dpo.

yes it happens all the time

people have had negatives even 14 dpo and then ppos 16dpo

wannagirl, I have come to my senses this morning, and realistically, I think 10dpo is a good day to start really holding the pee for a strong testing scenario.

However, I think there is an entire landfull of FRERs/dollarstore AND opks tests made by MOI for testing starting waaayyy too early because you just never know!! ;)

Sorry I'm new to the site so I don't know what's all on here or not I haven't seen a thread titled this unless I missed it and sorry if I did and I'm not obsessing cuz before I would just take a test when I was a couple day's late and it would be positive so as far as my body I have never tested sooner so I wasn't sure ho soon someone even got one. I'm sorry if this thread bother's you I will delete it!! I'm new to the site so I don't know what's all here.

okay thanks, I won't test until maybe friday or saturday and that puts me at 8dpo and 9dpo, as for me I just have never tested earlier then that ever so I was just curious.

Ya thats how my two boy's where as well, I have never tried testing sooner then that. Thats why I am curious of when some might get a positive.

The link I attached was a web-site that gives a bunch of stats on the frequency of BFPs after BFNs...I've spent many hours there. Just thought I would pass it along.

Yeah, Anchor would never be catty- just sharing a resource to commisserate; I've been on there more times than I like to admit, lol! You'll find that the ladies on here are super supportive. Welcome, btw.

I think anyone who tests early is bound to get a bfn before bfp. I know I did for both of mine! My positive were around 13dpo.

Well I will tell you something to make you laugh because you just have to in the 2ww....I was looking at a test, and it was a brand I don't usually use and I see a line but I can't tell if its an evap...

SO, as any true POAS scientist would do...I had DH pee on one of the sticks....lo and behold...he had an evap too!

Anyway, thats my story and don't tell anyone, its actually kind of embarrassing :)

that's interesting because I have heard most ppl have a hard time with pregnancy test's with boy's, my mom, and girlfriend both never could get a BFP with their boy's they had to go in and get blood work done and it finally showed up there. So it's interesting to hear that happened with your girl. But hay at least I know now it's possible.:suprise:

Okay ladies so I know I have asked about sore breast now mine are pretty sore right now and AF isn't due until next weekend, could that be a little sign of pregnancy or a really bad case of pms. lol......:rofl:

Well, my experience with boobs and early pg are mostly not about soreness, but tingly-ness. Especially with the first couple pgs. You have to scare yourself...like go drive in rush hour traffic and see if they tingle if someone nearly hits your car. Not the most accurate pg test, but definitely a clue!! ;)

I got pretty early SQINTERS with both my boys...around 8dop if I remember correctly. Trying to hold back from testing early now...it's hard!
Wondering as I read this thread if there is any correlation with early bfp's and boy vs girl???

When ttc iam a poas addict lol so i got a squinter at 6dpo then faint 7dpo...of course as it dries it gets darker :giggle:

I too was a POAS addict when ttc my two boys, both had squinty positives at 9dpo and super dark by 11dpo
