I just wondered if im doing the diet right?! I have for breaky maybe hummous on toast .. Or multiseed ryvita with hummous, a banana, glass of v8 vegetable juice. Then in between id have roasted cashew nuts, pumkin/sunflower seeds. Then for lunch today i made a homemade brocoli, leek and celery soup.. With a roll. Yesterday i had a omellate with tomatoes, spinach and onions. After i made a glass of fresh juice which would have pineapple, apple, oranges, carrots and lemon. Still snacking on nuts. For dinner tonight im having a jacket potatoe with the skin, large portion of salad and quiche. Yesterday i had tofu with brown lental soup with chapattis and a large portion of salad. When i go up for bed.. Whilst watching tv id have a bowl of fruit... Blueberrys, strawberries, grapes, banana again and cherries.
Ive been having pregnacare multi vitamins for 3 months now. I started taking folic acid for week and half now. I started taking wheatgrass at the weekend. I will start my pregnacare fish oil today.
I have preseed ready for next month
I just wondered if u could tell me if i was heading the right way.. ANd if anyone coukd suggest anything

Me too, I am tired of feeling stuffed all the time. I actually like feeling hungry when I am not swaying.
With my body type the blue sway diet is just packing on the pounds. I have probably gained 5-8lbs and my clothes are starting to not fit....grrrrrrrr
Such a big departure from my normal eating habits!!

I think you need to add a few things...when you eat the nuts you need to add carbs even just a little bit if juice will do...and when you eat the bowl of fruit a little bit of protein like a few nuts. Every time you eat it needs to be both carbs and protein, if you remember that you will be ok. One question about the soup (homemade brocoli, leek and celery soup.. With a roll)....what in it was protein?
Are you getting the recommended intake of protein? I think thats really important.
vegetable lasagne with potatoe wedges and salad - what is the protein in this meal?
I was vegetarian with my first 2 daughters but mostly ate veggies and carbs like this...I didn't make an effort to eat protein to my meals like the 2 I mentioned here....just be careful!!

Oh right ok... Eatting the nuts and seeds along side the fruit. Ok so carbs and protein at every dinner... Is it the same for lunch also? Are there any ideas on this website on meal ideas?
What if i make a smoothie with fruit.. Full fat yoghurt and two eggs to go along side with the lasagne meal?
Thanks for pointing this out

Yes, you should have a protein with every meal. Eggs are great (organic if you can), even peanut butter. I think you have to be a dream member for the blue meals...I'll check...

Hi Huds, I did a veggie blue sway. I had carbs and protein at every meal. I posted some of my recipes in the dream member section. My veg lasagne has 25g of protein. I aimed to eat 20g+ of protein per meal and around 6-10g in my snacks.Your main meals do seem a little light in protein esp breakfast. Hummus on toast would be about 14g. I used to eat porridge with whole milk and 2tbsp of peanut butter mixed in and a squeeze of honey to sweeten 22g protein.Maybe add it up for a day and see if you are reaching the target 90-120g per day

Thanks Pearl. I will try that for breakfast. I just wondered what did u add in your lasagne to add more protein?
I saw on your entry blogs.. Your food timetable. Looks great. I'm thinking of getting a personalised plan but I don't know if I have enough time as we plan to try in 5weeks time.
Congrats on your pregnancy..Do you know the gender of the baby?

I find out in exactly 3 weeks at my 20 week scan :nails: But if it is a girl then I will definately sway blue again without too much changes to my plan. I think I would add in the royal jelly/bee pollen and not slack so much on the weights during the 2ww and avoid DTD when both myself and DH are sick, typically the month we concieved this lil one.
I added a spinach and ricotta cheese topping instead of a cheese sauce and added pine nuts on top (extra for my portion). The recipie is here
http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-boy/10023-boy-friendly-vegetarian-meals-4.html
The peanut butter porridge is so good. I had it every morning during the week and then had eggs for breakfast at the weekend. I really planned out my meals. ( I had an excel spreadsheet) For example i found this on my work computer not really sure what I had for dinner that day but I posted most of my main meals on the link above. and this was a simple one  but I guess that was good for my testosterone levels too

Hi! It looks beautiful and honestly everyone gave such great answers I don't even really have anything to add. I am assuming you are vegan?
I think adding some protein with your carbs (even the fruit) will only help.

Yes, protein plus carbs at every meal and snack - but if something happens and you can only eat carbs at one snack, it's still ok, just eat again a little sooner.
For vegetarians I advise 4-6 eggs a day if at all possible (I know a lot)
The lasagna should be fine so long as it's got cheese, but I do think a smoothie could go nicely with breakfast or as a snack.

5 nuts really isn't enough, almonds can be rather chewy so if you have a different variety of nut that you prefer such as cashews or walnuts, they're also very good.

Also here is a thread of vegetarian holiday recipes that you might find handy (eventually I hope to have THREE diets, High Everything, Low Everything, and the In-Betweeners Diet for vegetarians swaying blue and pink swayers who want to cut back a little bit before they start the LE Diet - it's still a very blue-friendly diet)

No, I've had people buy plans right up to the month they are trying. If I know you need your plan immediately then I give it first priority when I can.

PERFECT. Don't even worry about the carbs, with cashews they are so sweet they are great for keeping blood sugar up.
Do you have a recipe?? They sound yummy.

Yes i buy the big bag of plain cashew nuts (they work out cheaper) i then roast them in the oven 190c for about 20 mins. But keep checking them and see how brown u would like them. Once roasted splash lemon juice all over so the cashew nuts are all wet. Then add ur salt, pepper and red chilly powder accordingly. I love them...
