so I wanted to quickly update on my weight loss. I had a tough time with hubby( he is about to loose his job) and I the worries were making me eat less then ever. I had my daily courgette with mushrooms and one slice of toast, little parmesan for flavor and one pealed pear at 11 o clock everyday -never breakfast. two cup of coffee with milk after and a half of a bar of chocolate. I came up to 700 cal and added another joghurt with strawberries and crackers and every second day some spaghetties with butter and majonaise to the mix, plus an apple skin off. I also had a pretty decent food situation at christmas, binging cheese bread cake mousse au chocolat, but still kept loosing weight, so I am pretty worried since I found out this morning that my weight went down to 89 pounds:nails:. I had been sick as hell with sinus etc and took antibiotics for the last two weeks/ I am not sure if I can get hubby to make nr 3. by end of april if he will loose his job. :nails: So any ideas how I can hold weight without loosing and still sway? today I binged 2600 calories eating waffles, my noon meal 2 cups of spagettie, chocolate pudding, ice cream, chocolate, and one can of wip cream:suprise:.
yesterday the doctor did the cryo at the cervix to reduce mucus for the future. He told me he would reccomend clomid starting CD 5 instead of CD3 and a trigger shot! please can anyone tell me if the trigger sways pink???? he said this way I know that egg released and I wont miss it. what u think??? thanks!!! btw, hubby thinks I look disgusting anoraxic, we haven't had sex for month now and he's got problems to get it up. more worries....

At 89 pounds, you likely will not ovulate. You should really try to get to a normal/healthy weight.

I will use clomid anyway but I am just really worried if hubby decides against nr 3 in march and I sit there and I have to wait longer...

I agree with NBP. We do not advocate unhealthy eating habits nor promote anything that will lead to disordered thinking regarding food. I am frightened for you, you are SEVERELY underweight. I am shorter than you (5 feet even) and I find myself scarily thin at 103, and below 100 I would be a skeleton. I was flirting with losing my ovulation at 106lbs. I have no idea how in the world you could possibly still have a healthy menstrual cycle and I am shocked that any doctor in the world wouldn't be addressing your underweight issues first before talking about fertility treatments.
Please, please focus on getting to a HEALTHY weight first and forget anything to do with TTC. If you're not ovulation/menstruating right now you shouldn't be throwing clomid at it, you should be getting to a healthy weight first and foremost.
Also, your pattern of binge eating and starvation is not normal. Again I am no doctor so it isn't my place to diagnose anything, but that sends up some huge red flags.

I'm 5'6 and 100lbs (I was down at 98lbs one week ago) and I stopped ovulating. I decided to chill from the diet a bit and went out and had a buger/fries/coke meal - first one in MONTHS and the next day I ate lots of cakey dessert that I made and I actually O'd the next day. My body was definitely in shock from the weight loss and I think at this point you have to realize what's more important - I decided that for me my health and a baby was top priority - If I get blessed with a girl that's great.. if not, I don't care. I'm still sticking to the no breakfast, no snacking and most of the rules - no meat etc. but I'm definitely having way more cals than before - mostly in the form of desserts like cookies etc. and it's helped my weight to go up 2 lbs so far. I think when it gets to this point (speaking from experience) the sway has gone too far and you need to back off. It's almost impossible to do the strict sway that is suggested when you are already super underweight like I was because naturally I kept losing and losing. I think you can do as much as you can do and then leave it because it's not worth messing up your cycles and risking your health to *maybe* get your girl.. you know what I mean? No judgement hear as I'm literally in the same situation as you.. just hashing out my recent realizations

Thanks everyone for your advice. I noticed that I started developing an eating disorder. I am trying now to hold steady by eating more noodles and cake( I am already eating chocolate cakes etc after lunch) but it seems like only my good old habbit of eating pizza (thats how I made my boys;-) will keep me gaining. I wish though atomic could tell me if the trigger after clomid would sway pink.

89 pound IMO for 5.2 in not too bad. Depending on your health though. I conceived ds1. When I was around that weight but I was eating healthy foods.just less of it, and I'm 5.3.

According to the Mayo clinic, it is a BMI of 16.3- under 18.5 is considered underweight.
----------
Being underweight may weaken your immune system and put you at risk of osteoporosis. Ask your doctor what you can do to achieve a healthier weight or to address unexpected weight loss. For better health:
Embrace healthy eating by choosing a variety of nutrient-rich foods, including fruits, vegetables and whole grains and energy-dense foods like olive oil, nuts and dried fruits.
Eat between-meal healthy snacks — whole-grain crackers and nuts, for example — to increase calories.
Exercise. Your doctor may recommend strength training to promote lean muscle development and increase your weight in a healthy way.

Amy, I'm so relieved to hear that. IMO, and when Atomic has time maybe she can back me up on this, your priority right now needs to be to get back to a healthy weight. The low end of 'normal' BMI is around 18, and you need to be at at least 100lbs to be within low end of normal.
You might very well find that everything normalizes as soon as you gain some weight. And you also should consider gaining weight with a more well rounded menu, not just empty carbs and sugars. Even if you do gain weight with junk you'll still be malnourished. I really hope you would consider consulting with a nutritionist or other professional, especially since eating disorders are psychological as much as anything else. This is not to shame you as I suffer from my own mental issues and I have no perspective when I'm 'lost' in it.
Clomid carries risks, including cancer. There's only so many doses in a lifetime you can take. Please do consider that you might be wasting these doses now when all you need to do is gain some weight.

I actually was eating VERY healthy and just not eating ANY rubbish food. Not a single drop of wine, lollies chocolate etc. was following the blood type diet. I didn't feel underweight or look it either. I probably have petite bones. Btw, could be cos I'm Asian and smaller frame. Not sure.
But I'm now much heavier :P as its hard not to snack.
I also agree with pp Amy that maybe add a bit more healthy food? What about some meat instead of sugary stuff?

Around 700 calories is almost considered to be fasting Amy, you seriously need to eat more. Eating less sways pink, eating bugger all sways all kinds of horrible diseases, and eventually organ failure and death. Not wanting to sound harsh but my step sister is badly anorexic and has made herself infertile FOREVER by fasting for long periods of time. You will not get pregnant at all, boy or girl, if you continue with what you are doing. Please go and see a doctor. Taking the skin of apples is a classic anorexic behaviour (my step sister even peels grapes) Once you get this under control, you can come back and we will all help you sort ot a good girl sway that DOESN'T compromise your health <3
There are lots of us here to talk to if you need it hun xxxx

I have a small frame too Goodus, like I am seriously slender, I have size 3 feet (so I buy childs socks and shoes!) and my wrists are too narrow for watches, my fingers are between a 3 and 4 ring size and before I got preg I had a 23 inch waist lol! While I was always very slim (around 105lbs at 5 foot 7) I wasn't ever stick thin boney, I never looked unhealthy, I always had a curvy bum etc and I ate TONS I just could not keep any weight on. But all my family have tall slender body frames.

It's certainly possible, especially for Asians, to have genetically slimmer frames. BMI is on a populace's average and isn't a great singular measure by any means, but being of very significant underweight on the BMI scale (and 16.3 is REALLY underweight!) is a big red flag that needs to be taken seriously.
Weight alone is meaningless, bodyfat percentage really needs to be considered. But it's much harder to measure. Being underweight to the point of having fertility issues (and the OP is having fertility issues if she's now taking Clomid) means there is a real problem in terms of her current weight affecting fertility. Also it's not just fertility you need to worry about - if you're underweight to the point of losing regular menses and ovulation, that means bigger consequences like early osteoporosis. It's not something to take lightly.

Trigger shots don't sway.
Everyone has already said exactly what I think...you're way too thin and I think you should focus on health now and let swaying go.
The absolute minimum calories intake for LE diet 1200. Lowest BMI should be 18.5 unless you start out lower, if you are smaller then hold steady.
Thanks all so much for thoughtful and eloquent response

Well, I know that I am now too thin. I can see it in the mirror. But I am about to start my clomid cycle and I cannot go up with my weight now. I am very worried believe me and I am trying to concentrate to eat and keep weight up. I have dropped the 1200 cal thing, I am eating around 1500-1600 to hold steady. I mainly added sweet butter and low salt cheese to add fat to my meals. THanks everyone for your help, I know that you guys are worried, I would be as well, everybody around me is alert and worried especially hubby and my mother. I am seeing a doctor regulary and I know that I cannot drop any more weight. So I am just hoping to stay with my 89 lbs and move on.

You absolutely CAN go up with your weight now. The Clomid is going to be swaying for you in a big, big way and so you have the freedom to start gaining some weight. I would love to see you at least up to 1800-2000 cal range and 2200 would be even better.
I BEG you to drop ALL sway tactics aside from the Clomid and just start eating ANYTHING because it will do you no good if you are too thin and sick to sustain a pregnancy.

Thanks atomic. I gained and I feel bad about it:worry:
My weight went up to 91 pounds. Now I totally feel like I ruined my perfect sway. Well hubby wanted me to eat more and I basically just ate more spagetti (whole grain), more cheese and rice and I got addicted to these little biskuit crackers (just binging because I felt depressed- one day 400 cal, I felt so bad). I was still keeping sodium low for sure under 1200mg. But I also ate some dark choc, I know bad and tons of ice cream, way too much on fat and protein and choc. One day I ate an entire bar of milk choc like 500cal. I had to meet people in restaurants and I tried to order just plane spaghetti. That works fine but restaurants boil spagetti in salt water and again I felt bad. I even had a piece of pizza one day. Can you imagine one piece, I used to eat one and a half pizza in one meal. I drank 3 glasses of white wine every evening with hubby. What was the opinion on white wine? It sways blue doesn't it. I drink diet decaf coke during lunch. But I also drink way too much coffee. I try to have it with meals not inbetween, works most of the time. My protein intake is really hight like 45 closer to 50 or so. But I cannot reduce it for some reason. The Doc found out I am missing Vit D pretty bad. But I left it this way, scared to sway blue with supplement that he prescribed. I had my gynocologist ( Ilove him, he helps me with my idea) check the ph and he found out that my level was 4,0 but I was having a bacterial infection so I had to take some antibiotics down there and now I am using Doederlein's bacillus to build it all back up. I do have egg white mucus on the pill which frustrates me. Wasn't I supposed to have none? I have been loosing weight since end of October. Lost the most during november ( I had almost no mucus then) and beginning of december. Then I gained a bit during christmas and lost again during january and beginning of february. Since that I was holding steady by eating around 1600 cal a day. Do you think holding low weight sways pink?Don't I have to let it drop now until I start with clomid in a few weeks? Hubby said he would be ok with easter for a try so I will have to calculate when I stop BCP and start clomid. I am worried if I should do any other swaying tactics. FOr sure I won't be able to get him to do anything. He smokes and he is pretty overweight. His ph was last year 7.Not high. He drink tons of coffee and red bull. Binges cereals and sausages etc, then he won't eat for a day... I cannot get him to take supplements. I had to tell him that I was happy with another boy, well, I just want to try this time, one last time.I see all these skinny women out there with girls. It has to be the diet. The first of all my collegues is getting her second boy. I was so happy when I heard that news. I had been in contact with her during the time she concieved and she basically ate a very boy friendly diet, breakfastm, bread a lot salty cheese, she tried to become vegetarian (because I think she tried to sway sort of). She complained about not beeing able to loose weight, she is pretty big but also has a very boish attitude, and I believe that sways too.
Sorry for writing too much, Thanks for your help, all of you, good luck

Hi ladies i think this is an interesting and useful topic...esp for people like me who are naturally thin and small boned. The LE diet made me loose a lot of weight very fast..i lost about 28 pounds and now weigh 98 pounds. Looking back i think it may have set me up for my miscarriage in oct. My diet was mainly mixed veggies in a wrap or pasta and rice veggie dishes, bagels, some cheese, salads, diet coke and sugary sweets..sometimes chocolate treats. I am now on clomid and i am being a lot more sensible - certinally weight loss at this point is out of the question for me and i have just maintained. I love food and am a natural boy mom in how i normally eat. If i had it back i would have lost less weight and i really believe i would have conceived faster and probably not have miscarried! Going into a pregnancy after heavy dieting and a low bmi cannot be good for you or baby! I agree with everyone on here...you need to have a word with yourself and question what its all about... if i am not preg this cycle...i am in the 2ww i plan on really relaxing the diet like skipping breakie and staying veggie but adding in snacks and nuts and cakes...and pray that the clomid does the trick on its own! Even for this cycle i added in the odd cake and ate more...without gaining weight!
If you cant get preg or hold on to a pregnancy...u cant have your dd! I understand as well as anyone the desire to have a ddd...i would literally do anything for one and thats how i lost the weight...but i think common sense must prevail. In fairness Atomic does not avocate starving yourself and continously tells us to stay within the limits she has identified as healthy enough to get preg but unhealthy enough to get a dd!! :-) shes the best!

Amy, I'm really worried about you. I want you to reread the LE Nutshell and LE FAQ just to humor me because eating plain spaghetti and worrying about a little extra sodium are not what the LE Diet is about.
http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-conceive-girl/16780-low-everything-diet-nutshell-version.html
http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-conceive-girl/24628-le-diet-faq.html#post335985
It's meant to lower your condition safely and I think these thought patterns you're in where foods are "bad" are not safe. 400 and 500 cals here and there when you weigh 90 lbs are not going to hurt your sway at all and cheating is MANDATORY on LE Diet. TBH - and I do not want to alienate you or make you feel like you can't post, you are safe here and we are not trying to be bossy or judgemental, we just want you to be safe - but I think you should consider seeing a professional because you are scaring me.
1)You do not need to eat plain spaghetti in restaurants or any time. I ate pasta with marinara and alfredo sauce very often when TTC my girl.
2)You DESPERATELY need fruit and vegetables and some potassium. PLEASE eat some fruit and vegetables.
3)Do not worry about sodium, I don't even think it sways, I only leave it in the diet for people who want to include it. I think it's way way easier to stick to diet if you don't limit sodium and you may find a lot of other foods that can help tempt your tastebuds a bit.
4)pizza is fine and allowed. In fact I think it could be a great meal for you - half a veggie pizza for lunch and again at dinner, along with some salad, fruit, and wine - you wouldn't ahve to count calories or anything and it might help with some of the obsessiveness.
5)Chocolate and cookies are allowed, I'm not sure why you think those are so bad?? EVen dark choc is fine once in awhile.
7)White wine is allowed but really you need some actual food here.
8)45-50 g protein is NOT HIGH, that is the recommended amount on LE Diet. That is what you SHOULD BE getting. In fact, since you have IR and are on metformin, you can even increase that to 50-60 g.
9)you are not supposed to have NO EWCM, you need some to get pregnant. I had it when I got my DD. You want less CM and it sounds like you are having that.
10)I personally would love to see you gain 3-5 lbs. I think you will need it to get pregnant with a healthy baby. You should also start the Vit. D. If you do get pregnant, you want to be able to have a happy healthy baby at the end of it all. None of this is worth anything unless you are able to conceive and carry a baby.
11)Your husband is doing exactly what my husband did when we got our DD. (overweight, smoking, caffeine, eating a lot one day and nothing the next)
I think it is time for you to go ahead and get pregnant and let the chips fall where they may. The diet and Clomid are the best of all sway tactics, Metformin will also help. please do not add in any more sway tactics, they will only keep you from geting pregnant and that needs to happen NOW. Not in 3 months, ASAP, because this diet is not mentally good for you.

please take a step back and think would I be happy if my sister/friend was eating the way I am.
Hon I know it's hard I do I obessed so much and felt that everything I didn't eat brought me closer to my dd, but hun I would say a sway is about many factors, weight, diet, exercise, mental attitude, state of dh's swimmers, about of sleep, any supps you may have taken, please do consider if these factors may have been what swayed you boy before because your attitude towards food sounds more girl mum than boy mum to me!
take care my luv please keep us updated as to how you are feeling and remember you may not be o-ing due to low weight xx

Thank you Ladies. I appreciate your words. I know something is wrong. I have been sick with sinus problems since January, it comes back every second week. I think I am done with my imune system. I am getting big worries about my calcium absoprtion because of my high coke intake. I am having muscle cramps, which shows that my magnesium levels must be too low. I will get that checked as well at the doc office tomorrow. I keep all of you updated. Thanks attomic of telling me that half a pizza is allowed. Unfortunately I cannot eat it anymore now with a good feeling. I just lost it all. I don't know if clomid will really sway that much. I mean I read for example Armaris sway, and she was just like me and got b/g twins with clomid. that shows that even with diet clomid does not sway that much.

Sometimes I have additional lettuce and a hand full spinach with my courgette. I have 2 slices of toast and some parmesan on it. After that I have some biscuit crackers and some coffee until afternoon I won't eat. At 4 I have my rice or my spagetti with some mayonaise and butter and greek yoghurt. I recently end up at 1400 cal. Is it really that bad? I fit into the guide lines of potassium, pears have 300 I caculated it. Please give me ideas. thank u

Amy, you really need to work up to eating more calorie dense foods. IMO you still have too many veg and fruit in there - and while those are healthy foods, they are also empty bulk that fill you up but won't put on weight. Which is great when trying to lose weight but you are still very, very underweight and need to put some pounds on.
I really hope you will consider seeing a nutritionist or dietician and have them seriously look at your diet. You need to add some fats and carbs in there, but after not having enough for so long your body probably needs to work up to digesting them again or you'll make yourself sick. I also think that you've been eating too little for so long that it's likely your hunger cues and metabolic mechanisms have switched off and will need some retraining to get back to healthy territory.

Ok all I had to go off of was what you had written in your original post. If you're eating some fruits and veg and getting within the limits for potassium (2500-3000 mg a day), then no worries on that front. that having been said, muscle cramps can also be from low potassium, and some people just need more than others do.
Yes, eating 1400 cals is not so hot if you are getting sick all the time and the people you love are worried about you. The reason why I have the limit set at 1500-1800 for most people is because that's the number that reproductive endocrinologists recommend for safe weightloss when TTC. 1200-1500 is not, and it was never really my intent for most people to be eating 1200-1500 and me to beg and plead with people to be eating that much. PLUS, low carb veg are free foods you don't even need to count their calories, so if some of your calories are coming from courgette, lettuce, spinach, you aren't meant to be counting them anyway.
I hope you know we just want you to be healthy and safe. You're right, Amari did get b/g twins and what I really hope you can take away from that is NOT that Clomid doesn't really work because it clearly does help, but that there are no guarantees, you can have a very restrictive diet and Clomid and still have an opposite. So it is not worth ruining your health over, KWIM??? There are going to be opposites all the time, swaying will never be 100%, and so you have to just do the doable.

As my mama used to say, "If they all jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge, that doesn't mean that you should!" :)
Even if they were eating the exact same as you, that doesn't mean that it is something that is a good idea. I try constantly to get people to eat more and I think that there are tons of people on the site who cut back way too far, and there are a lot of horror stories about people who stopped ovulation for months at a time and were very unhappy and actually wished that they'd not started off so strictly.

Thanks, will have to use trigger and clomid anyway because I lost period because of weight loss and I am on BCP. I pray that this did not cause Menopause to start because I am already 35.
I followed Atomics advice and went ot restaurant 18 days before my first attempt I had one massive pizza mushrooms, massive spaghetti mushrooms (tried to avoid tomatoes), one big salat with parmesan, one big ben &jerrys Icecream chocolate plus a capuccino (2500 cal) plus my daily LE diet before 1000 cal- 3500)Since sunday night I feel like I destroid my sway and I am wondering if I should wait a month. I of course gained 2 pounds and I have to admit my diet hasn't been that perfect anymore in the last weeks... I think I am higher in potassium and since one week I am def overgoing in salt. If I drop weight the last 18 days, do I still have a chance? I hate to go under 1400 cal because how can I build the lining and grow eggs with this little calories if I am already not having a period. I will try to ovulate on easter sunday (girls moon), not sure if Iam able to calculate it that well. I will stop BCP on Saturday. I am really worried if I should buy one of those ionisers but I hate to carry that , it seems heavy, and I try to avoid muscle work on my arms. Now you think she s turned crazy, I sure have...

Called my diabetis doc and explained he told me to stop metformin, gain weight for three month and yes pizza everyday is fine for him.
Now my gynocologist had the idea of starting gonal f to but fsh in my body to get the egg growing because I told him I am freeking out because I am scared of menopause. Anyway, started provera to induce period. then I need to think about what I should do. Wait one cycle, induce period again to start 100mg clomid or gonal f.75. Or try to get my period back with weight gain, then loose to do LE Diet... I am clueless and time is against me, I am 35. SO WHAT SHould I do in your opinion.

I think you need to do exactly what your doctor tells you to and never do LE diet again.
You CAN get a girl eating enough food. I promise that you can. You have gone too far in the direction of infertility, you actually need to sway BLUE to get pink at this point.

Personally I would do what your Dr suggested and gain weight for 3 months and focus on getting your body healthy for pregnancy rather than getting pregnant at the moment! What would be the point of all this if you ended up pregnant and lost your baby due to malnutrition trust me when I say losing a baby is the worst thing a mother can have happen. If your having problems with your hair and nails I suggest maybe having some bloods taken to make sure your not vitamin deficient something like low iron can impact a pregnancy and cause harm to your unborn baby as well as fatal bleeding for you at birth. I strongly doubt you should continue swaying at all at this point! Just my opinion!

What you have to remember hun is EVERYONE has approx. a 50% chance of a girl, every pregnancy, whether they swayed or not. All swaying does is increase that chance. No matter what, even with the world's strictest and most perfect sway ever, you could still get a boy, because swaying can never be 100%. Even at an extreme of eating 3 pizzas every day and putting on 10 stone, you would still have a good chance of a girl.
Put your health first.

Thanks Ladies, Iknow you are right. I have seen a shrink for some help with my gender issue but unfortunately it did not help me just made it worse. I am now starting my second cycle Clomid 100mg this time and I am hoping to develop one egg. I at least found out that I haven't started Menopause because Doc checked it all. There are still a few follicles left over and finally I am also cyst free from the last clomid cycle. I weight 100lb and have been more less stabil since 4 weeks now. I thing that I look better. My eating habits have been addapted to a somewhat LE Diet with acidifying foods. I cannot skip breakfast, have to have 2 white toasts with butter and jam and I started taking Metformin again regulary. But therefor I don't eat after 4 o lock. Hope this counteracts the breakfast thing. Will update if I grow an egg.
Good luck to all of you.

AMY Please please please please please listen.
I want you to eat after 4 pm. Mentally you cannot do the diet. It is not right for you. Let the diet stuff GO completely. Eat three meals a day, plus snacks, The Clomid and Metformin is going to sway pink for you.

I don't think I read this carefully enough. Yes I agree with Atomic you still need to eat after 4. Dieting made your weight go so low you didn't even have a chance to conceive. Keep up with weight gain - you are still a very low BMI so that will sway and you can really afford to eat more in order to get those eggs out. Don't waste the clomid by being too light to ovulate / maintain a pregnancy.
I don't mean to come over all lecturish and bossy I just really don't want you to harm yourself and also to waste the opportunity you have with Clomid.
Good luck!

Yes I don't mean to be bossy-boots, but you can't do diet, there is not a doubt in my mind that you shouldn't do diet, that you're still trying to do diet in spite of everything is proof positive that you CANNOT do diet. Please don't do diet any more. No LE Diet, no acidfying diet, eat normal meals at normal times of day when you are hungry.
When I tell you to get help, I do not mean because of gender disappointment, I mean because you are developing an eating disorder and you may need treatment for it. I am not even sure you should be considering a pregnancy right now until you've seen someone about this.
And if you think "well, I'm just not going to post on there because they're mean and don't understand but I'll just keep doing diet anyway on my own" then that is secretive behavior (like drinking alone) that needs to be a wake up call for you. We are not trying to be mean. We want to help you. I am really worried about you. We have no motivation other than wanting you to be healthy and safe. There are people who have "perfect" sways and still get boys - you simply can't destroy your health and wellbeing for a sway because perfect sways fail all the time. It isn't worth it.

I appreciate that you all care about my health. I really do. I noticed in the last weeks that something is really wired. I keep freezing even though it is warm outside and I found out that my thyroid went wacky. It is an underfunctioning thyroid caused by malnutrition the doctor said. I am still on clomid and I ve got one egg that grew to 15 mm that I will trigger tomorrow morning. I still have this problem with my eating disorder, I realized that I might need help. I had 2300 cal today and I feel super bad because I am about to ovulate soon... I keep salt very low most of the time, it almost makes me crazy. I don't watch the calories that much, neither the protein. I feel like my sway is not a good one anymore because I wasn't able to loose weight. I cannot skip breakfast anymore at all because of work stress. I maintain my 100 lbs and hope that this will help somehow. I ate a bit more cheese and started to take magnesium supplements because my toes are cramping.
Unfortunately I will ovulate right in the male moon, so I feel bad about that as well. I am having no CM so that reminds me that I took clomid 100mg. I make sure I am still on metformin but that is it. I am not able to push Hubby to release or anything. He wants to BD whenever he feels like so that s out. Now I need advice again. Please tell me when should be BD. I will ovulate Thursday night after 7. So should I even consider O+12 or should I just BD through and hope for the best.:nails: What about the moon. :think:Please atomic help!!! Thanks a lot.

You should not be doing ANY sway tactics while on Clomid. NONE whatsoever. You have to get pregnant quickly while on Clomid.
I do not believe salt even sways, please eat some. I got my daughter with both my husband and I eating tons of it.
I do not believe timing sways and it is really just a terrible idea to even consider O+12. Please BD whenever your husband wants to and then go for 3-5 attempts starting 2 days before ovulation and going through ovulation.
If you think you're going to O tomorrow (you CANNOT predict or pinpoint ovulation the way that you think you can, that's absolutely untrue and impossible regardless of what you read on IG) then I would have an attempt tonight, tomorrow morning, tomorrow night, and then the next morning if at all possible.
Astrology does not sway and even if moonlight sways the tiniest amount, you should still BD.

Hi Atomic, thank you for your answer. I triggered wednesday morning and had the first attempt Thursday morning at 5. Unfortunately hubby has so much stress with me and work that he had to release in a condom and then I used a syringe to put it in. I had no cervic mucus at all so I decided that I better rub the sperm onto my cervix using the condom. Sorry for TMI. This is just what I could think of best when he told me he is really turned off by all this with me... I got him to do the same procedure 4 hours laterl. This time I rubbed the entire sperm in the condom onto my cervix. I even tried to push it into the little opening.
I know, TMI, but I kinda freaked when I did not see any mucus 10 hours before ovulation. The next attempt was at night around 10 when I calculated the 38 hours after trigger. This time I just tipped the released sperm in the condom into my vagina and I tried to rub it onto the cervix again. The next morning we had the 4th attempt this time I went and bought another sterile syringe and I used the sperm in the condom. After i inserted it right in front cervix, I kept my hips up for 15 minutes and I orgasmed because I kept reading that this would help to get the sperm inside.
No I am so worried that I got pregnant with another boy because of all these technics. What do you think?

Sorry I hadn't had a chance to get back with you.
You're not crazy, but gender desire can mess with a person's head and it's sometimes hard to snap out of it on yoru own without help. :)
You do not need to insert sperm into your cervix manually, they can swim. If it is BFN this month, I would try to disengage from the pressure and stress involved, get some Preseed, and do it the old-fashioned way. The Preseed may help your husband and it will also make up for any lack of CM. Messing around with your cervix can be harmful so please don't do that any more.
I can't answer the question of how likely it is that you got pregnant or what gender your baby would be.
Sending  and (((Hugs))) for you and DH.

Thanks atomic. I really appreciate that you give me answers to all my questions. I have nobody IRL to talk to. The shrink was no help and hubby is getting really angry when I bring it up. I am still really worried and regret that I did not do it different because I keep reading that the sperm that is close to cervix will make boys. So with my sperm rubbing on cervix I feel really bad. On top of all that I felt so releaved from dieting that I had a huge salty pizza at O+20. I read that the egg only lives up to 18 hours and I thought since last BD was 10 hours ago I treat myself with a big beuatiful Pizza Hawai... Now I feel even worse. I kept reading that sperm is through the cervix within 2 hours and I just figured that conception must have already taken place if. I tried not to eat yesterday all day after breakfast to keep bloodsugar low but at 8 in the evening I could not wait any longer and I ordered Pizza with my son. I am so worried about this all. I think if I don't get pregnant this month I will stop trying for a while. I noticed I cannot deal with the pressure anymore at all.

Sperm close to the cervix doesn't make boys, ALL sperm both X and Y needs to pass through the cervix to get to the egg! If you didn't get X sperm through the cervix, you wouldn't get pg. But my concern about that is that you could hurt yourself (the cervix is not meant to be handled like that) and could introduce microorganisms that could cause an infection in your uterus.
RE the pizza, first of all I find it unlikely that sodium even sways. Secondly, you have no way of knowing when you ovulated, it is impossible to tell your ovulation time to the hour. thirdly and most importantly, PLEASE do not avoid eating all day long. That has never ever ever been written anywhere on this website by me and is not at all my advice. In fact, it is a surefire way for your body to delay ovulation for peopel who haven't yet ovulated and could even "convince" your body to prevent pregnancy if you have already ovulated. The best thing for your blood sugar is to just keep eating in the pattern that you already are.
I think you are on the right track in taking a break. I am really, really concerned about you Amy.

I know what you mean. Thanks for taking your time and responding to my posts. I am currently thinking how to proceed and get my health back. I am waiting for my period, hasn't arrived yet and I am trying to focus on a healthier lifestyle. I assume that it has to be low egg quality that prevented me from getting pregnant this time. I am thinking of using natural remedies to help with ovulation and egg quality. I gotta get my cycle back. Health insurance will only cover 3 rounds of gonal f injectables and I am so done w clomid and all the side effects.
Crossing my fingers for all Ladies out there trying to get their girls....

wanted to update. I am pregnant. I went to doc yesterday and he found out. Its on time, 6 weeks, I hve gained to my original weight and I took all suplements possible to avoid menopause, I also took dhea... 25mg. for a week before conception. I concieved unbelievable but true with the syringe after gonal f and ovitrelle. The doc saw three follicles but obviously only one took... and I swear if this turns into a viable pregnany this will be boy nr. 3.
good luck to all of you, i think swaying doesnt work with some women because their bodies react different. in this year i have lost 8 kilos and gained back 11. It wasnt even a year...I lost within 5 month 8 kilos and my BMI was 16. I lost my period in January while I was on an anti androgen pill. The doctor stimluted twice with Clomid and twice with Gonal F. The last cycle I took crinone after ovulation and this one tock, I did not expect pregnancy so I stopped crinone 10 days after ovulation and now its 22 days after and here I am pregnant. I am still on Metformin and because of the weight loss my thyroid went wacky and I have to take thyroid med. I don' feel very female anymore so I assume also because of DHEA I made another boy...
and I forgot to tell, my AMH went from 2.6 down to 0.7 in March, I started supplementing with vit D and got it back to 1.5. I think vit D also sways blue.... whatever, I am still loosing hair...and was hoping that vit d could help. my vit d went from too low at 15 to 60!!!I think I did a perfect blue sway...my bmi is 20.5 now....
