the packet didn't recommend it, because it can prevent nutrients getting from your digestive system into your body so not good hwen BF

Hm, that's unfortunate. :( I was hoping to put off weaning for a while longer but it keeps looking like I will have to early. He only feeds about 1-2 times a day, usually just once. Is it still not good for that?

honestly I don't know... there are a lot of things that are probably OK when breastfeeding, especially when BF is reduced, but as you'd expect companies are reluctant to do tests on them just in case

Over 6 months is ok but you may want to give baby a vitamin drop with dha and vitamin d.

I was told to take fybogel when I had just had my baby as I was having difficulties. Doctor didn't say it was a problem whilst bf-ing. There is nothing on the packet that mentions bf-ing and I've just discovered it contains aspartame so that's good. It may be that fybogel is milder than other fibre supplements and that's why it was suggested for me... It does also contain sodium and potassium but that might be a good thing? Knowing you are getting a bit of everything from somewhere...

I've just gotten benefiber.
