Was just checking out the Jonas fertility moon calender for my sway in July, thinking I must be crazy, but obviously Iīm not the only one getting in sway obsession..

All the neg ions stuff you have, the mountains, summer: I think it will compensate.

If you also do diet and supplements I wonīt worry about the moon, I think food and pH is more important.
I decided not to worry, according to Jonas July is a male month for me, but I just saw the months I conceived my two sons were female!

Now I have to go and check if I have full moon on O in July :)
:luck:

I would have been trying to conceive my girl earlier but for me the first July moon is my first time ovulating under a new moon... that is why I am waiting and going insane. So much research and not sure if it will work. I am so temped to just go for it now but I am pushing myself to wait for the better time.

I have seen a few websites that talk about babies conceived under moons... full moon time frame strong boy, new moon time frame girl, no moon all girls, or in the middle it depended on which moon it was closer to. So the moon to me just adds some to your already planned sway, even if it is 1%-10% it helps to have that little boost.

Well the Vitex is delaying my ovulating a lot this month. I am already 4 days late for ovulation. No Temp spike yet. Maybe continuing the Vitex will delay my cycle by a week each month and it will be closer to a new moon...lol

Could be!

You guys probably know already but I put very little stock into the moon stuff.

Jonas is kind of (just gonna be totally honest here) a goofball at best and so I would not worry much at all about anything Jonas has to say.

I know somethings may just be silly but for me only getting one shot I am using everything I can... both my boys were conceived right around a full moon so going for a new moon. It could add 1-5% to the sway it could be that 1% that helps the girl sway. And July has two new moons one with a solar eclipse and the other is a blue moon :)

That is fine so long as it doesn't give you any stress.

My ob dr told me to stress myself out because both my boys were late being born.... i am a very calm person i just get hyper sometimes!

:agree: Glad about that!

jjc I think new moon is on the 1st and 30st July.
I started to eat less of everything especially protein to start losing weight and lowering testosteron, itīs hard!
So for me as I donīt believe much in it anyway, couldnīt skip a month because of the moon, actually hope to get pregnant the first month since I donīt know for how long I can keep up eating less!

The new moons are July 1st and July 30th.... I did biocharts for hubby and myself during the times the boys were conceived and it was during a full moon and the blue line were on top, during the July new moons the red lines are on top for us.

You can look online for the exact new moon time is for your area. when the parents bd at that time all the babies were girls.

Change the months and years for each of your kids to see what it says....

http://www.lunarium.co.uk/calendar/universal.jsp?calendarYear=2011&calendarMonth=6

http://www.astro.com ... on the left under horoscope drawing and calcu, then extended chart selection, and then special charts. this does biorhythmic and lunar.

These are my favorite ones because they are easy to use.

I agree with Indira!! Im really not worrying about the moon phase, as I dont believe it has much affect on what gender my baby is! AND I really hope to get pregnant this first try because I would like to get back to my normal lifestyle and EAT again!!! And we have really been wanting to hit the beach but I figured that salt water will really jack up my pH so Im trying to wait! But ladies I wouldnt put too much trust in the whole moon thing....personally I feel that God ultimately controls what sex the baby is but it doesnt hurt to try and change the chemistry of your body to help....In my opinion if the moon had that kind of control over things we would be worshiping the moon instead of God right?!! I hope I didnt offend anyone, just some food for thought! And to help you feel better about the moon theory!

I am a religious person... my family is a mix of Catholic, Mormon, Ev. Christians, and even Jewish. But my Great Grandma came from a very long line of Celtic Pagans. At 12 I did start to get interested in all religions and I have studied Islam, Judism, all Christian faiths, Pagan, Wiccan, some Native American, and Anicent Beliefs (Italian, Viking, and Egyptian). I hold true to mostly Catholic beliefs but I also mix in Jewish and Pagan beliefs.

In the old days most people worshipped the sun and moon, planets, and star, trees and dirt... now we pray to God. We just gave a name to someone we have never seen. But in the end not matter who or what one believes in... God is in the trees, dirt, stars, planets, sun, and moon. We just have different names and symbols.

I believe everything has a place in the world...

So nicely said:) :HH: I'm definitely more in line with Pagan beliefs myself and I have to say that the moon, earth, nature etc play a huge role in my life:)

Thank you for the links. But you said when parents BD during the new moon all the births resulted in girls. Just wondering where you go this information from. I have been doing research on this topic which is why I am wondering :)

I will have to find it again because it reads something like.... out of so many births - some conceived around the full moon were about 80% boys, some conceived around a new moon were 70% girls, and 5 babies conceived during no moon (right at the begining of the new moon were all girls.

I am waking hubby at 1:40 am so we can DTD at that time ;)

I just looked up when I conceived all 3 of my boys.....It's little weird
1st- Ovulated 6 days past a new moon
2nd-O'd 9 past a new moon
3rd- O'd 10 days past a new moon

Isn't that girl territory?LOL

Maybe I should be trying to aim around a full moon and do the opposite???

Doula, that is girl territory.

My DS was conceived on a full moon, but full moons tends to be when I ovulate. I don't think I ovulate on new moons, so I am just going to have to deal with it the best I can.

How close was it to the full moon? The farther away from the new moon to more likely it will be a boy. That is why I am shotting for the night of the new moon.

"No Moon" is right before a new moon... if the new moon is at 1:53am then it is about 1-2hrs before that.

Awesome. Thanks. I will not be ovulating during a new moon I think at all this year. My cycle seems to like full moons.

Well you could just use the biocharts, diet, vita/herds, and timing... The moon is just a small percent but if you feel you need that little bit extra waiting may not be bad. Plenty of time to get the diet and everything else just right.

If I am reading the biocharts correctly, which I am probably not, but if I am then I don't ovulate in a girl zone either. I will just have to hope I can get my PH down, diet the best I can and hope I time it right. I think God just wants me to have boys.

The red line should be above the middle line and the blue line should be below.... boy would be blue line above and red below. ?Did you look into next year to see what it looks like?

With both July new moons I am O within 1 day and the red lines are on top. The rest of the year I don't know for sure but those times are ify for a girl.

If you believe in the Lunaception idea (which some of it does make sense to me) then most of us do O with the full moon. I think I prob. posted this already but if I didn't http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?1421-Lunaception

Good thread guys, I will make a link to it!
