At the bottom of the picture what looks like a nub but is not attached to the body of the baby - very odd !!! Any suggestions ?

Thanks Inky I think it looks alot like my other sons scans though so not getting my hopes up.
Ill have to put pics of all 4 of them up and see what people think

I think I can see a nub further up though, that appears to be angled down so I think there is a girl nub in your pic.

Only guessing but i think that mound type thing that your baby's lower back is laying on looks like placenta, and you are talking about the bright white thing at the very top of it? I think its cord.
