We are very very anxious to find out if we might finally get our boy or if this is girl #3. I am high risk so I go to a perinatologist and am seen in his office for appointments. I get u/s at every visit, and I have an appt coming up in two weeks. It is actually ON our wedding anniversary! Anyway, the Dr told us he is confident that he can tell us what the gender is at that appt. I will be 14ish weeks, baby has been measuring a bit ahead, so maybe plus a few days...he is a very good Dr and has been in this field a long time.
If he tells us something should we believe it LOL? I know 14 weeks is a weird time, but if it looks pretty clear either way and he seems confident what do you think?

If it was me I wouldn't want to be told at 14 weeks as I have seen many people who have been told one thing at an earlier scan only to be told the opposite at 18+ weeks so I would wait and say you didn't want to know yet.

I'd find out. Especially if he is confident. I'd personally ask him to point out the areas that make him believe baby is that gender and ask for pics too.

We were told this one was a boy at 14 weeks. He had a obvious potty shot by then. With my girls there wasn't much to see that early. The only thing I can tell you is no matter which gender you hear it is at 14 weeks chances are you'll still want/need another scan before you'll really believe it since 14 weeks is so early. I know it took me until the 20 week scan before I'd believe it was really a boy. Good luck!! It won't be long now :)

Thanks! Yes, I will definitely be getting a lot more u/s this pregnancy so we can double/triple/quadruple check :)

If it were me I would find out...... I would also go into it knowing theres a chance it could be wrong but ask the Doc how sure he is and if he's ever been wrong

I would be curious and ask to find out but also ask for video and lots of pics of both the side view nub shot (still the best way to id gender at 14 weeks) and potty shots.
