Hi, I know that there is not a ton of information available but I was wondering if anyone has kept track of the amount of successful sways. Even as I'm typing this, I'm thinking about how every sway isn't uniform but I'm still interested in hearing any information. I know Ingender had some stats but I read on here that those were skewed. Thanks.

I think there was some of the diet only stats in the TTC Boy forum, but you need to be a paid member to access that one

that one's only for pink but I think the OP is swaying blue?

Okay thanks. I have such a type A personality, that it's hard for me to do something that doesn't have clear conclusions. I guess I should just relax and have fun with it.

let me check the diet stats for you then...

I'm happy to set up the form and spreadsheet for the blue sways but I don't have time to add all the sways to it, so perhaps someone else can volunteer!

doing the IG diet:
6 opposites
10 success
= 62.5% success

doing the HE diet:
3 opposites
15 success
= 83.3% success

doing an IG/HE mix:
3 opposite
0 success
= 0% success

Oh, very interesting information!! Thanks so much!! I'm not exactly sure how someone does the IG/HE diet but I will try to stay away from it.

of the IG/HE mixers, one of those was doing the HE diet but sticking within the IG mineral limits, one of those did "elements of both" (I haven't looked into her sway to see what she meant by this), and one did "some elements of HE but more IG"

HTH

3 people is likely just a coincidence...I would not read anything into that.

If you need that guarantee, then it is best to go high tech. Swaying can't offer clear conclusions, because people aren't lab rats, we can't control what they do and also even what people say they did, we can never know for certain if the information is reported accurately and what important tidbits are left out.

PLEASE no one, draw conclusions because of this statistic. 2of those swayers went months to a year without conceiving and generally when people say they did a mix of IG and HE, it means that they cut back on calcium and magnesium and also often bit d as well. THAT does sway...going a year without calcium and vitamin d is not good for fertility and may sway pink.

Bit d is meant to read vit d, vitamin d

Part of the reason I want a boy is for my husband. He doesn't talk about it a lot but I know that's his dream. I'm certain that's where most of my anxiety is coming from. I don't want to let him down. He would not be upset if we had another girl (I'm sure he'd feel a little disappointed) so I know it's all me. Ttc has brought out the perfectionist in me. I'm generally pretty laid back.

Being a bit Type A and perfectionistic will only help a blue sway! Good luck and blue dust headed your way.
