Hi - We are TTC Girl this summer.
I have been on the Medifast diet for the last 4 months and have lost 40 lbs. I think the diet would qualify as LE because it is low everything (800-900 calories a day).
I use Myfitnesspal as my food journal and it looks like following the diet is on average approx 40% protein, 40% carbs, 20% fat.
Has anyone been on this diet for their sway attempt? If so, what was your TTC outcome?

Hi! The problem with Medifast is that the products are fortified with vitamins and stuff that may sway blue to some extent. I'm also not liking anyone getting pg after a diet that low in cals.

I was on Medifast in 2007. I was trying to get pregnant and it took forever. I did end up getting pregnant while on the diet and had my first daughter. I agree with Atomic, the diet food is highly fortified with vitamins and your eating 5-6 meals a day which is not good for blood sugar levels. At the time, other people on the message boards were getting pregnant and I did notice some of them were having boys. I loved the low everything diet and think you would have a good shot switching to that now after your huge weight loss. Good luck.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I think I knew in my gut that I should switch as well because all the packaged foods are very vitamin fortified. I also know two ladies (one was my counselor) that got pregnant and both had baby boys...granted they did nothing else to sway as far as I know.
I appreciate the guidance/advice and I think in order to do a full girl sway I should switch to the LE diet otherwise I will always wonder if I have another boy that I didn't do everything within my power to have a great girl sway.
Thanks again!!
