O+12...I really think I messed it up! Eeek!

Okay so we did our attempt at O+12 last Friday morning. I had a couple positive OPK's in a row, then what I THOUGHT was a temperature rise....but I think I messed it up. Here are my details: +OPK Wednesday at noon, 4, and 9pm +OPK Thursday at 8am, then -OPK at noon. fluid began to dry up, although not quite creamy yet. i got anxious and did a lim douche at 2am on friday am. slight temp rise at 730am on friday....went from 97.18 to 97.33 i figured this was a temp rise figuring in the dry up and OPK results......so we dtd at 9am. i did all the lime douche, etc etc. felt pretty good about things! THEN, on saturday my temp went up to 97.6 and my fertility software changed my ovulation date to friday! my attempt day!!! do you all think i messed up my girl sway???? help! thank you! :)

WOW that was confusing but I think you are good. I don't really believe in O+12 besides the one attempt and perhaps drier CM, anyway, which it seems you covered quite well.

Lol, I even confusing myself! What a trip this swaying business is! My husband for sure thinks I've lost my mind. ;)

Weeellll....this is a big part of why I don't recommend that method...too complicated.

I don't think timing even sways so if you're happy with your sway otherwise, rest happy in the knowledge that you can't mess up a good sway with timing.

For future reference, the easiest way to do an o plus 12 is to bd once 48 hours after first pos opk.

I got my first positive OPK on wed at noon. We DTD at 9am on Friday. I thought my temp raised that morning, but turns out it didn't enough. Sky rocketed the next day. Ugh!

If your first pos OPK was wed. at noon, then the odds are good that you had a perfectly timed O+12 attempt. Don't worry about the CM consistency, temps, and all the rest of it because as you can see, they are not reliable. I had EWCM for 2 days after ovulation when I conceived DD (confirmed by ultrasound) and if I had waited around till my CM was creamy I would not have her today.

Atomic, which OPK test do you recommend? For my son, I used the clear blue fertility monitor & I want you use the sticks this time around. Is there a brand that you recommend?

Whatever is cheapest! LOL - seriously, because if you're worried about the expense of the sticks you tend to use them less often, so the cheapies are actually better because you can use them freely. :)
