Rather I guess what I should ask is, if you could do the minimum in trying to sway blue, what would you suggest? Any ideas?

Oh boy, I wish there was! Well, I'm swaying pink and from what I've noticed it seems like people who do sway tactics for longer periods of time seem to have better luck, but again, that doesn't always hold true for every case.

Swaying is like a big continuum and there's a huge variety of things person can do for a sway, and there's a spectrum of light to extreme. For example, if for swaying blue you purchase Atomic's amazing customizes sway plan and do the suggested things in it and stay on the diet/exercise regime for a year before ttc, you are swaying. On the other hand, if you slightly change your diet so that you're switching your soft drinks from diet to full sugar for one week before ttc, technically you're still swaying. See, there's a huge difference between those two sways but technically they can both be considered sways. Whether or not a sway will yield your desired result is the ten million dollar question that we all seem to be looking for the answer for, but we still haven't quite found it just yet. Personally I think we're getting closer every day, and it's all really exciting stuff to me. :)

Getting back to your question, Atomic has a great essay on here that may help you. This may be worth a read: The Kitchen Sink, the Mellow Yellow, the Do-Nothing, and the 80-20 rule of swaying! » » The Gender Selection Source (http://genderdreaming.com/2011/04/the-kitchen-sink-the-mellow-yellow-the-do-nothing-and-the-80-20-rule-of-swaying/)

So, there's not a quick easy answer to your question unfortunately. However, I do have a little boy so not only am I sending you my blue dust for your next ttc attempt, but if I wanted to do a fairly quick and less painful sway for a boy, I would suggest these based on my experience:

1. Eating super healthy, nutrient rich, maybe even organic foods and eating a lot of them, and frequently. I was an all day grazer when I conceived DS. I also lived on mexican food and ate a big serving of guacamole virtually every other day. Pile your plate high with guac, and often lol.

2. Try working out (weight lifting) for at least 20-30 minutes a day but don't exceed 60 minutes of exercise a day.

3. Get lots of sleep! I posted a few minutes ago in the pink section about how I'm planning on getting less sleep for my pink sway as I was very healthy and well rested when I conceived DS. When your body is very healthy and in good working shape, that will help you conceive a boy, and I personally think lots of sleep is a good way to help your overall physical condition improve.

4. Try doing analytical activities like puzzles or find a new project to obsess over. That will help boost your testosterone levels.

5. Green tea seems to sway blue. I drank 3-4 large cups every day when I conceived DS. Also, sway away from artificial sweetener or diet sodas.

Can't think of anything else right now but good luck on your boy sway if you decide to sway and I am sending you my blue dust. I sure don't need any of that right now, lol! :)

Not really but if you dont have time to do a sway for about 6 - 8 weeks i would say get some preseed and cross your fingers :)

Boy sway is all about improving your overall condition, increasing testosterone, etc... None of these are things that happen overnight. Even if you cut out diet drinks, reversing the effects of diet drinks on the body also doesn't happen overnight.

That being said you can get your desired gender by making no changes at all...it happens! So any change is a good one, but if you really want a boy, I would give a sway a good 6-8 weeks minimum before attempting. Only you can answer if you are happy with another girl and won't regret that you didn't sway harder.

Thanks for the answers y'all.

Hubby just freaked me out last night, and I was thinking I would have a brief window of opportunity. All is peachy now, so I'll actually be able to do a sway.
