First let me say thank you for all the patience you ladies have shown me and especially for the honest advice and reasurrance. This is a phenominal site for information and support! Okay now for the crazy questions! I began swaying on January 1 but kept learning more throughout the month and adjusted some things. By the time we have our first attempt it will be about six weeks of (my perfect idea of) diet, weight lifting, frequent bd, and supplements for both of us. I am nervous that I didn't sway long enough for the best results. Has anyone else swayed for that amount of time and had it work? I have not lost any weight and may have gained some weight even with frequent working out since January 1 so I am hoping I've gained some muscle. I lift weights every other day and run for 15-25 minutes on the opposite day. When I conceived DD I was a big runner! I know I am freaking out because my attempt is in a couple weeks!!

Also how do you find what moon your conceiving in or is that nonsense? Thanks again!

6 weeks on diet is plenty of time for a blue sway. IT's much easier to improve condition (for a boy) than to decline it (for a girl). So even tho people will tell you 90 days is getting best results, those results are com,ing from pink sways amd i think 90 days is too long for blue swayers to go before TTC.

Starting multivitamins and extra folic 90 days out can only help though.

Okay thanks so much. I know most of my questions have to do with being nervous so I just keep telling myself to take a competitive approach from here on out.

For some unknown reason the blue swayers rarely fall pregnant 1st month trying so just keep that in mind too.

Hmm interesting. I would actually prefer to become pregnant in cycle 2 or 3 of ttc but I am going to start in a few weeks because it generally takes a couple months for me to conceive. I would also like to get off the boy diet, it is a bit rich for me. I wonder why women tend to not get pregnant the first time?

Can I ask how long it took you?

So it's better to wait until closer to the ttc date when swaying blue?

It's amazing to me the difference in time for some people. Do you think swaying affected the time it took? I was hoping the boy diet would help me conceive because of how healthy I'm trying to eat and the working out.

I have no idea why it took so long, maybe because i am older (33) I cant see how swaying boy could have affected falling pregnant in a negative way.

I think the HE diet works pretty quick so I don't think it's in any way necessary to start the diet as far out as the girl swayers do.

It can take fully fertile couples doing nothing to sway 3-6 months to get pregnant under ideal circumstances. I believe blue swayers should get pg more quickly than pink, but it may still take a few months. :)

Yes 6 weeks is a perfect time, i think when you do a blue sway too far out you slowly get fed up and start dropping things whereas you do 8-6weeks you seem more motivated.
I started my sway 5th November 2012, the reason why it took me a while was because DH got cold feet and wanted to wait so now weve pushed ours to april/May time.
Now Im not sure if i should go for an attempt in April just incase i dont get a BFP then try again in May????

I know with my DD it took me 2 months 1st month we stopped any protection and 2nd month we were doin alot of releasing (ofcourse we wernt aware of swaying back then) Im 23 so i dont know if age makes a difference or not.

It took me the exact same amount of time to get pregnant with my sons--with both of them, I got pregnant the 3rd cycle TTC. I was only swaying with DS2.

Interestingly, both my daughters were OHWs (and both "oops" babies).
