I normally don't ovulate until around CD 30. I'm currently on my first round of clomid though and on CD10 - took clomid days 3-5. Now waiting for O. I heard you should O 5-9 days after the last pill. Just wondering if this is true for those of you that have taken clomid - when did you ovulate?

So far, on the two cycles I've taken it, I've ovulated exactly 5 days after my last pill.

Do you mean to say that you took it on days 3-7? Are you temping or taking opks? If you did take it only days 3-7, you should probably o between cd 12 and cd 16. If you don't, let your RE (or the doctor who gave you the Clomid) know, because you might need a higher dose. Also, Clomid doesn't work for everyone, and it doesn't regulate ovulation as it's expected to for everyone.

:fx: for a normal cycle for you. Hopefully o is just around the corner.

I've just taken 50mg clomid cd2-6 and am now on cd15 with no opk+ yet. I asked a similar question yesterday and was told not to worry as I usually don't ov until around cd19-20 on my own anyway. I am starting to get darker lines on my opks and my cm is becoming more fertile so I hope I get an opk+ tomorrow. Hth :)

I took it twice cd 3-7 and O'd around cd30 and took it 3 times cd 5-9 and O'd around cd 18. Don't worry if it takes longer than 5-10 days after the last pill, that's pretty common. :fx: for you!

:( I'm on CD 17 (10 days past my last pill) and still no ovulation :( I think I'm too stressed out thinking about it...which only makes it worse...grrr...

I totally feel your pain but don't give up!! I finally got my opk+ on cd20 and ov'd yesterday on cd21. That's about normal for me without Clomid.

Yay! Congrats on your +opk! :) Good luck this month!! It's SOOOO hard waiting - isn't it? I normally ovulate on CD 23-30 (very irregular cycles, but always long), but was hoping the clomid would change it for the better and I'd ov at least a little earlier... but maybe not. praying it still works!

I normally ovulate cd 18-20 with a 9-10 day luteal. Soy iso (200mg) cd3-7 saw my ov go to cd18 with 12 day luteal. 4-9 was cd20 ov and 12 day luteal, cd5-9 saw my ovulation go to cd24, with a 13 day luteal.

Clomid cd3-7 this month (first round) just took the first tablet (50mg) so we'll see what it does.
