NUB AND SKULL THEORY ENTHUSIASTS.....BOY OR GIRL??? 12 WEEK SHOT.

Taken on Monday at 12 weeks and 1 day. Ultrasound technician gave a prediction (she felt confident). Interested in what anyone with some experience guessing thinks....

No news yet. Have managed to analyze the DVD and get another nub shot...at least I think it is...

The nub looks cutoff - do you have an image that captures the end. If there is more on top of the nub, I would say boy, but based on this picture, I would lean girl.

Not sure. They said to call at 4pm if I hadn't heard. The tech seemed confident it was a girl by the way. Have cried buckets of tears...feel like a terrible person as baby appears perfect.

Yes, you are probably right about that hun. I'm not sure either, but a fair few of my babies nub pics also look like perhaps labia? So I'm not sure.

I'm too frightened to check my messages. Came to check here first and feel totally overwhelmed with all the kind messages of support from you all. Thank you all individually for your hope, support and best wishes. I am sure deep down it's another girl and am expecting to have confirmation by 4pm today...will post when I hear.

Still haven't heard. I did post a new shot that NO ONE has commented on which is pretty ominous. I have compared it to 345,456 other nub shots available on the net and have come to the conclusion that it could be either a boy or a girl (but in reality looks like a girl doodle...sigh.)
I'm feeling cranky because my sway was bloody good. I seriously didn't cheat in 7 weeks (not long enough?) and changed everything.
Anyway, have a look again and see what the second scan on the front page says to you......

I am sorry to be asking but... those CVS results... how accurate are they? I thought they were just for fun? I really thought that it was pointing up and it is indeed a boy. I will never understand those nub shots...

Hi luvalittleman, I was thinking of you but had no time to log in. Congrats on the healthy baby but I am sorry it wasn't your dream gender. I am sure she will make it up to you in different ways later.
My Scan went well, but the sonographer didn't feel confident to make more than 65% guess, so I will be posting my nub shots soon.

I do feel a sense of loss that I will never have a son but I am separating that from this little girl. My combined Nuchal scores were 1:1880 which puts me at the risk of an 18 year old despite being 39 - DH said I am just such a superior girl maker and mother Ha Ha. I am not experiencing as much DG now (have been since the Ultrasound Tech said she was sure it was a girl monday) and have cried quite a bit on and off but have decided I bloody hate being a moaning sook and I'm just going to get over it and embrace having another child. Much of that attitude comes from DH who said we were having a 4th child anyway, just because it is a different gender doesn't mean it really changes anything...best guy in the world.
So best of luck to those that are yet to find out - I hope every one of you gets your DG - but if you don't, it will be OK.
Personally, I am looking forward to my daughters faces tonight when I tell them, and I'm already thinking about the moment I have heaved and sweated and busted myself to push her out and they lay her on my chest - is there ever a better moment?
Now, if I could just think of a name I like......

I'm not religious in the slightest but I believe the ability to give life is only a small part of motherhood - the rest is hard and getting it right is hard work. Have my fingers crossed you get a little boy (but trust me, your daughter will love a sister so it's a win/win).
