Yep the bright white line just after the baby's belly and close to the potty area if that makes sense. I think you are looking at the right thing.

Me too! Cause I really did do the best I could... I'm sure many of you did harder sways but I did my best.... I will def still be happy with another ds but all my different symptoms with this preg and girly nub I'm feeling a little bit confident.... There is either something on the end of the nub that may mean it is a boy or just something that is part of something else that happens to be seen there. May be a boy.

It is forked at the end I don't know maybe it was the lighting when I Took a pic of the pic but yes I can see it going either way cause I see a lot of girly nubs that are boy.... Will the fact that baby measures 13 week make it more likly to b a girl cause would ing it be more angled at that point?

I just read the actual study that was posted http://www.fetalmedicine.com/fmf/1999_4.pdf and it says that at thirteen weeks a boy would be very angled and this nub pic I have is obviously not more angled than 30 degrees... It loos very parallel to me....and it has the typical fork on the end I need to try and get a better pic of it... Although I know boys can be forked to... It's just the angle and the gestation that makes me lean girl... I'm a realist and wishful thinking is not my thing and I know if I was guessing I would guess girl...... Sorry for the ramble lol

This is how I feel about mine! There are many instances in my video where the nub looks very straight and parallel with either a fork or bump at the end, but what I am really wondering is whether it should be more angled up if it was a boy, since my bub also measured 13 weeks on the day of the scan (4 days ahead actually).

So I am hoping for both of our sakes that we just have tricky girl nubs here. :pray:

Its tricky, firstly i thought boy because i thought it was a stacked nub, but if you say it is forked rather then i'd have to say its girly. Some of my boy nub shots looked like a straight white line but it was angled up more than yours.

Yes according to the study......but there have been plenty of tricky nubs. I think that the angle of yours looks girl- but the end of it is tricky and looks like it could be stacked. Also- both boy and girl nubs can appear forked. That's why I think it can go either way. Below is a picture of ultrasounds that were all confirmed boy (12.5-13.5 weeks).

I've been going back and forth on wether or not to comment because I'm so afraid of being wrong and telling you what you may not want to hear (I'm in the same boat as you with 3 boys so I'm trying to think what I would want in terms of hearing the truth or not).

I've finally just decide to give my 2 cents and hope I'm wrong.... I've been on IG for quite a number of years and have seen many very flat nubs with a small
"bump" on top of the end (both forked and not forked) and almost every one turned out boy. I've never seen a flat confirmed girl nub with the bump. Again I am so praying I am wrong and I hope I've made the right decision in posting my opinion. I am really rooting for you!

Also thought that it is worth mentioning that babe is squished in at the bottom so it is harder to get a sense of the angle. Maybe the nub is even flatter than we think if the bum is curled up :)

I think it could go either way ... I've seen perfect girly nubs be boys... I would never rely on a nub shot to confirm the gender ... That would be setting up for dissapointment

Lol I'm gonna try and get a close up pic of it lol it is def a fork on my picture... I don't have a proper camera so I use a iPad to take pics of pics and then upload them on the Mac but I barley ever touch the computer.....it is def a fork not a bump I can assure of that I have no reason to pretend a bump is a fork lol... The think is the line in the fork is thin in the pic and the iPad takes really grainy pics

Both boys and girls have forks. Its the urethra that hasn't joined up yet. Boys its on top and girls bottom. (caudal notch/cranial notch I believe)

Boys also measure ahead.

But it looks nice and flat and defo could be a girl, imo

Had a scan I think two days ago now and baby measured 16 weeks the legs were close together but no visable boy parts... 18 more sleeps till my anatomy scan! Anymore guesses?
